Karl Brullov is the famous Russian painter. He was born on December 23, 1799 in St.Petersburg.He’s parents was a painter too. He applied to the St.Petersburg Academy of Arts without exams, when he was 10 years old.

Karl Brullov’s awards:- the laurel wreath- the diamond ring from the Emperor of Russia.- he was called "the first brush of the State.“Karl Brullov’s works:- Brullov created over 200 portraits- painted the dome of St. Isaac's Cathedral with an area of ​​800 square meters.

In the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts he painted the picture “The genius of art”
