I am your teacher.Nice to meet you! Sit down, please! ­ ­  How are you today? ­ What date is it today? ­ What day is it today?  ­ Good! So, you know that modern inventions are used in everyday life and  make it easier. What are gadgets? Why does a modern man need  them? This is what we are going to speak about at our lesson. ­First of all, let’s revise the names of modern devices that have  changed our life. There is a set of cards on the table with the words:  Resources PPT Check your  vocabulary for  IELTS,  Technologies  Laptop  Digital camera  E­book  Mp 3 player  Games console  Mobile phone  TV  Web­camera. All the students pick up a card and they join together according to the  word. ­You must translate and answer to the question “What do you may  do with it?” 1.It is Digital camera. We may take and show photos to your  friends… 2. It is Laptop. We may film some parties and interesting  moments in your life… 3. It is mp3 player. We may store music files and listen  to music… 4. It is mobile phone. We may make and receive some calls… 5. It is e­book. We may read electronic books… 6. It is games consoles. It is an electronic device used for  playing computer games on a television screen. 7. It is TV. We may watch the news and DVD… 8. Web­camera. It is a camera based to be on a computer for  communication. 25 min ­ I continue this lesson. Our new theme is “ The usage of  new  information technology”.  ­Now, we’ll talk about technologies in the life.    In the world today, people cannot live without technologies such as televisions, mobile phones, computers and others. These technologies have slowly taken an essential part in people’s day­to­day lives and being without them would be unimaginable for some of us. To understand technology, one must   know   what   it   provides   in   terms   of   advantages,   but   also disadvantages. The invention of the computer was a very important point.   Communication   is   thus   enhanced,   and   companies   can communicate   more   easily   with   foreign   countries.   Research   is   also simplified.For companies, progress is saving in time and therefore in money. Exchanges are faster especially with the internet. Sales and purchases are now facilitated and possible worldwide. This allows businesses to buy raw materials with discounts or at reduced prices.
