Schoolhouse Technologies Vocabulary Worksheet Factory
Краткое описание лексических упражнений
Challenging crossword puzzles with across and down clues will make your students get interested in new vocabulary.
Decoding worksheets require students to use a decoder to decode the encrypted words.
Similar to the Crossword activity, students complete the maze by filling in the framework with words based on number of letters and intersections.
Similar to the Missing Letters activity except that multiple variations of each word are given with a different missing letter in each variation.
Math and vocabulary practice are combined with this activity in which students match words with clues to complete a magic square. The columns, rows, and diagonals, will add to the same number with the correct solution.
In a matching worksheet students must match words from the word list to clues or definitions.
These worksheet activities require students to fill in the missing letters in words. They can choose between a random number of missing letters, a set number of missing letters, missing consonants, or missing vowels.
In a multiple choice activity the correct word must be selected from a set of four to match the given clue.
Similar to the Crossword activity, students complete a spiral maze with words derived from clues.
In a word jumbles worksheet the letters of each word are scrambled. Students can choose from randomly scrambled, split words, and backwards.
In a word links worksheet the beginning of each word must be linked up to the end of each word.
Fun word search activities! You can select the directional layout of the words, whether to use just a word bank or add clues, and provide coordinates for easy marking.
Word Shapes
This activity provides practice in identifying the letters shapes in words.
Missing Words
Students fill in the missing word(s) in sentences from a word list.
Scrambled Sentences
Students reconstruct sentences from scrambled sentences.
There are letters missing in the text below. Fill-in the blanks with the letters needed to spell each word correctly.
Cloze exercises are generated from any block of text. every 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th word is hidden.
Cryptogram
Entire blocks of text are encrypted and a decoder provided.
In an exercise in punctuation students must supply the missing punctuation in a block of text.
