Открытый урок по английскому языку на тему: " Мой день рождения" 6 кл

   Цель урока

научить учащихся поздравлять друг друга с днем рождения, вести диалог на тему выбора подарков, умению выбирать необходимые вещи для подготовки дома или квартиры ко дню рождения

   Задачи урока

развивать умения и навыки устной речи (диалогической и монологической) по теме «День рождения»; развивать навыки чтения;

учить понимать на слух небольшой текст (диалог), построенный на знакомом материале; учить учащихся приглашать в гости, поздравлять с днём рождения и вручать подарки;

продолжить совершенствовать умение использовать изученный материал в различных ситуациях общения; обогащать словарный запас учащихся речевыми клише и диалогическими единствами;

воспитывать у детей чувство дружбы и взаимопомощи (работа в микро-группах);

   Ожидаемые  учебные  результаты:

I. Организационный блок

Приветствие, постановка темы (введение в тематику урока)

Good day dear friends. I hope you are fine and tuned to our work As usually, it’s up to you to guess the theme of our lesson. 

On the blackboard you can see “a word serpent” with hidden words in t. If you guess this secret code, you will know

what we are going to talk about today. Besides, listen to the beginning of that song and try to remember its lyrics.

What is today’s theme? What’s the name of that popular song? When do people sing it?

Введение нового лексического материала. Постановка задач

T. – Tomorrow my friend is going to celebrate his holiday and asked for my advice how to decorate his flat. Probably you have faced that problem too. How did you cope with it? What things did you buy and what did you do      

for you flat or house to look great?      

T. – Do you want to see what other interesting things to give I have found? Try to guess by watching this cartoon         .

(Ученики смотрят мультфильм и определяют слова)

So could you tell me which is the best way to decorate his house, but remember that he is limited in money and time     

Group work   

Let’s divide into small groups to help me with my advice         

Контрольное задание                      

What event is my friend going to celebrate? When is he going to do that? What help does he need? Who did he ask for  help? What things have I found? What problems does my friend have?

T. – I almost forgot. My friend has invited me and my brother to his party and we have a dilemma what present to buy. On the one hand we are students and can’t spend much money; on the other hand we want our present to be both           

practical and a lasting reminder. Could you help us to make a right choice?           

I have taken the pictures of those things and would like you to decide which two things would make the best present.

Pair work

Контрольное задание          

What problem did my brother and I face ? What are we? What kind of present we would like to give? How many things must be chosen?       

T. – So, we have heard a lot of arguments and have come to an agreement what presents to chose and how to decorate my friend’s flat. Let’s vote.        

(учитель называет предметы, а ученики голосуют за свой выбор)    .

Презентация текста “Active concert”

T. - And now I want to tell you a very interesting fairy-tale about the magician and the way he celebrated his birthday.

Look at me and try to understand what I am going to tell you.

(Учитель эмоционально рассказывает текст на фоне музыки). /Моцарт 40 симфония аллегро/

После этого учитель просит учеников найти все слова и выражения в тексте, связанные с данной тематикой лексически.

Работа с текстом, извлечение необходимой информации

Фонетико-речевая зарядка (совершенствова ниепроизносительных навыков).

T.-Find in the text all the words and expressions to deal with today’s theme and let’s improve their pronunciation.

Besides, find in the text all the verbs ending in “ED” and let’s concentrate on the right pronunciation of their ending

and verbs which form their past form in a quite different way

Презентация текста “Passive concert”

T. – And now, you are in a wonderful forest, the weather is fine you are lying on the grass enjoying birds’ singing. Try to relax in full. You can hear either my voice or music, or think about something pleasant.

(Ученики слушают спокойное чтение текста на фоне музыки композиторов позднего Барокко)

T. – What pictures did you draw in your head? Did you listen to me or music? Did you like that tune? (Небольшая беседа проводится с целью вывести учеников из расслабленного состояния) и настроить на игру.

Контрольное задание          

(учитель задает вопросы к тексту и проверяет насколько хорошо ученики поняли данный текст, насколько хорошо запомнили структуры и корректное произношение новых слов)

Физкультминутка

T. – What do people do at birthday parties? What do you do? How do you congratulate your friends?

Today I would like to suggest you an unusual way of congratulating your friends, by means of song

(ученики и исполняют 3 короткие песни, лексически связанные с темой урока и поздравлением к празднику)

What did you wish in those songs? Have you got anything to add?

6.

Grammar games

Final Consonant Discrimination       

T. – Open the envelopes. As you can see they contain 2 cards, ne pinked with a /d/ and one blue with a /t/. Listen to the verbs and hold up the card indicating the end of the word. 

Ball toss         

T. – and now another game. I will throw you a ball and will call the present tense of an irregular verb and you, in your turn, have to catch the ball and repeat the past tense form.       

Контрольное задание          

How do we form past tense? How do we read ‘ED”? How many irregular verbs have you learned today? 

On your tables you see some Grammar exercises. Open the brackets and insert the right verb form.     

Pair work: Now exchange with you sheets and check each other’s answers.

Acting out

Pair work on a reading passage        

T. - And now it’s high time to have fun. (Учитель просит учеников поработать парами).

T. – One pupil has to read the text aloud and the other acts out the story - as much as it’s possible to do.

Group Interaction        

T. – I need a volunteer to act out the story. Vlad, please, come to the front door of the class and pantomime the action while the class reads the story aloud to you.

Listening

T. – Listen to the text. The narrator of that text went to the birthday party and is ready to share his successful experience with us. The narrator is giving advice how to make birthday party unforgettable

Подведение итогов урока и объяснение домашнего задания.

Учитель спрашивает учащихся:

– Какие новые английские слова и выражения прозвучали на уроке, – Какие новые слова они запомнили,

– Как они на английском языке будут приглашать друзей на свой день рождения, – Как они будут поздравлять друзей с днём рождения на английском языке.

Выставление оценок учащимся за работу на уроке, комментирование оценок.
