The appearance of a ballpoint pen.

Model of a ballpoint pen, the patent for which was obtained by an American named John in 1888, have not been able to create. The problem was in the density of the ink: liquid leaked and formed thick clumps, causing the deceleration of the ball. It was the start in the history of the ballpoint pen.

The company was founded in 1945 by Marcel Bick, a former employee of the company for the production of ink. The company's main activity was manufacturing parts for fountain pens and mechanical pencils. “BIC” has expanded its business and started manufacturing of the ballpoint pen, and then in 1950 by introducing their own ballpoint pens “The Crystal Pen".
Unpretentious design, reliability and low cost have contributed to the commercial success of the company in the European market.

The modern ballpoint pen is invented by Hungarian journalist Laszlo Biro in 1931. In Argentina these pens are named in honor of him “biromami".

Scheme
