Презентация по английскому языку "Лесные обитатели" была выполнена обучающейся 9 А класса Ковалевской Валерией для международного конкурса презентаций "My Home, My Land". В этой работе рассказывается о лесных обитателях Курганской области, некоторые из них занесены в Красную книгу: ондатра, мышь-полевка.

The fauna of the Kurgan region is very diverse. The forest fauna combines forest, steppe and forest- steppe species of animals. On the territory of the region there are: 64 mammals; birds - 252 - 268 species; reptiles - 6 species; amphibians - 8 species; fish - 27 species. Among the mammals - 18 species are hunting objects, 1 species - Russian muskrat - is listed in the Red Book of Russia. Among the birds nesting are 165 - 170 species, spanning 70 species. During the autumn spans on the lakes of the Makushinsky reserve, up to 70 thousand birds.
On the territory of the region there are nesting 24 species of birds listed in the Red Book of Russia. Including 11 species of birds are under the global threat of extinction in Europe. During the migration, there are ducks, Lesser White-fronted Goose, Lesser Swan, Red-breasted Goose; nest - curly pelican, shiloklyuvka, stilt, klucheka, etc. On the territory of the region there are 5 species of insects listed in the Red Book of Russia (Steppe apex, Apollo, Bumblebee - Armenian, Shrenka, amazing).
