Одна из важнейших задач учителя – необходимость разработки технологии обучения социокультурному компоненту в содержании обучения Учащиеся должны получить знания по основным темам национальной культуры Великобритании и США (по истории, географии).Учитель может познакомить своих учеников с достижениями культуры стран изучаемого языка. На любом уроке иностранного языка необходимо вводить страноведческий и лингвострановедческий компоненты. Это знакомит учащихся с общечеловеческими ценностями, повышает их познавательную мотивацию и формирует их способность к общению на английском языке.Предмет «Иностранный язык» знакомит с культурой стран изучаемого языка,с общечеловеческими ценностями. Иными словами, содействует воспитанию школьников в контексте диалога культур. Сведения о городах Канады позволят расширить кругозор учащихся.

Vancouver Vancouver is a very young city; it wasn't until after the World Exposition in 1986 before Vancouver changed from a sleepy provincial city to a booming metropolis. Even today the city continues to expand at a high rate: once abandoned industrial areas have thus turned into fashionable and lively districts such as Yaletown and Coal Harbour.

Toronto Toronto has grown tremendously over the last 200 years from a small town at Lake Ontario to Canada's most populous city. Montreal Montreal, long Canada's largest city, is the second largest French- speaking city in the world. Founded in the 17th century as Ville- Marie, Montreal soon developed into a large multilingual metropolis. But as tensions between French and English speaking inhabitants rose during the 20th century, businesses moved out and the city's growth came to a halt. Thanks to its long history Montreal boasts a large number of attractions, ranging from the historic Notre-Dame Basilica to the modern Olympic Stadium.
