Разработка урока английского языка для 6 класса.                                           Тема: Living together. Цели: создать учащимся необходимые условия и возможности, позволяющие  узнать больше о семьях своих одноклассников, принять участие в обсуждении обязанностей членов семьи; развивать умение работать в коллективе и  самостоятельно, развивать навыки устной и письменной речи, чтения и  аудирования, учить логически мыслить; воспитывать интерес к английскому  языку как средству общения, внимательное и уважительное отношение к  членам семьи, ответственность. Задачи:  проверить знание транскрипционных знаков; закрепить лексические  единицы по теме урока; формировать навыки устной речи путём создания  ситуации беседы, диалога; совершенствовать навыки аудирования и чтения;  развитие умения применять грамматический материал (настоящее  завершённое время) при формировании речи. Оборудование урока: транскрипционные знаки, схема «Family tree»,  карточки на тематику «Children», «Parents». 1. Warming up. Teacher: Good morning, children! Greet our guests.  Pupils: Good morning! T: Take your sits. Nice to meet you! P: Nice to meet you too! T: Let’s warm up! 2. Transcription. T: First, let’s train up your phonetic pronunciation. Read the phonetic symbols: [^], [a:], [e], [ae] ,[i], [i:], [ai], [ei], [o]. T: Look at the words: elder, before, love, children, walk, stand, must, after,  arrange, ask, sweep, travel, live, leave, climb, set, male, try. T: Tick the words according to the sounds. [^] – love, must              [i] – children, live [a:] – after, ask               [i:] – sweep, leave [e] – elder, set                  [ai] – climb, try [aе] ­ stand, travel            [ei] – arrange, male      [o:] – before, walk T: Read the words all together. T: So, what’s the subject of our lesson? What will we talk about?  P: We will talk about relatives, in our families, relations and responsibilities. 3. Vocabulary. T: What male or female relatives do you know? Let’s complete two columns:  males and females. T:  Now, children, who wants to describe a family using a family tree? P:  I do. (Готовит рассказ). P: A close family, a caring family, a loving family, a hospitable family. T: What kind of family do you have? Give your arguments. P1: I think my family is loving and caring because we love each other very  much and always help each other.  P2: I think my family is hospitable because we are friendly with our guests. Etc. T: …, are you ready to tell us about your relatives? P: Yes, I am. T: Children, if you want to know more about his\her family ask your questions.  …, you may begin. P: My family is (not) large (small). There are … of us: My Mum, my Dad, etc.  QUESTIONS.  ­ What’s your mum’s (dad’s …’s) name? ­ What are your grandparents’ names? ­ What is your father’s (…’s) job? ­ ­ Do you get along with your parents (younger, elder sister, brother)? ­ Who likes reading in your family? ­ Who plays sports in your family? Is your sister (brother, …) funny? Why do you think so? T: Do you love your family? P: Yes, I do. T: I am sure you love your families. But sometimes you have problems with  your relatives, don’t you? I think it’s because you don’t always do your  responsibilities at home. Do you agree or disagree with me? Let’s discuss the  problem. Imagine that some of you are parents, and the other ones are children. … and … come here and take any card. Now we have two groups, “Children” and  “Parents”. So, “Children”, what can you say about your parent’s  responsibilities? “Parents, say if you agree or disagree. (possible answers)  “Children” 1. I think parents must give their children more love. As for my family,… 2. I think parents must try to understand their children. 3. I think parents must talk to their children more often. 4. Parents must help their children with problems they have at school, with  their homework. 5. Parents must set a good example to their children. 6. I think parents must give their children more freedom. We must do what we  want. 7. I disagree. I think only girls must set the table and clear up. I agree to take  out the rubbish in the evening. “Parents”   1. I agree but sometimes we have no time. We must work.  2. I agree. We try to understand but sometimes you do bad things. 3. I agree. We like to watch TV and don’t like to talk to you. I don’t think so  because children are very talkative. 4. I disagree. I think children must do their homework by themselves. You  need our help. 5. Parents often smoke and I think they must get rid of it. 6. I disagree. Children must do their responsibilities. Children must help us  with the washing up. They must take their beds, set the table before dinner  and clear up after dinner every day. 7. Children must take out the rubbish early in the morning. T: You have different ideas and opinions but I think both children and  parents must have their responsibilities, and you must help you relatives. 5. Listening. T: Let’s listen to the poem “Helping Mother”. (Ex.25, p.130, Биболетова М.З.  “Enjoy English”). There will be some new words. Look at the blackboard: knife [naïf] нож fork [fo:k] вилка spoon [spu:n] ложка noon [nu:n] полдень   T: Read all together. Listen to the poem and try to understand what it says. P: We must help our mum to set the table and clear up. T: Read this poem. 6. Grammar.  T: After all let’s name your responsibilities you often do at home. P: to make a bed, to take out rubbish. T: Compare them with the list at the blackboard. (reading) “Jobs I must do at home” to set the table to make a bed to walk a dog to take out rubbish to sweep (swept, swept) the floor to go shopping T: Do you see any new words? (учащиеся отмечают два последних выражения). I’ve just washed my hair. What…? P:  ­ Where has she left for this week?  ­ Who has already taken his puppy for a walk?  ­ What have you just washed?  ­ When did Peter come late? T: Complete the sentences. ­ London, you, been, ever, to, have? ­ Lately, have, society, the, they, joined, Zoological. ­ Must, your, give, father, up, smoking. P:  ­ Have you ever been to London? ­ They have joined the Zoological society lately. ­ Your father must give up smoking. ­ 7.Homework. T: Read the poem (Ex.25, p.130,) and learn it by heart. Then you will read the text  about the English (Ex.30, p.132). Our next lesson we’ll talk about the English and  their habits. 8. Reviev.  T: Обсудили ли мы отношения между членами семьи? Должны ли вы  выполнять какие­либо обязанности?
