Внеклассное мероприятие английского языка и физической культуры

« Олимпийские игры в России »

Аннотация.  В статье рассмотрено знакомство с реалиями и понятиями  спорта и олимпийских игр. Предлагается текст – “ The History of the Olympic Games  ”. Воспитание положительного отношения и интереса к спорту и родной стране.

«The Olympic Games in Russia»

Abstract. In the article the acquaintance with the realities and concepts of Sport and the Olympic Games. Proposed text – “The History of the Olympic Games ”. Nurturing positive attitudes and interest in Sport and the Motherland.

Keywords: Olympic Games, Sport.

Цели мероприятия: реализация приобретённых знаний и развитие речевых умений и навыков, в том числе в игровой форме,  формирование у учащихся интереса к Олимпийским играм.

Вид мероприятия: бинарное мероприятие английского языка и физической культуры.

Тип мероприятия: комбинированный.

Задачи:

Образовательные:

1.     Повышение  мотивации к изучению англ. языка и физкультуры.

2.     Углубление и расширение знаний обучающихся по теме: “Олимпийские игры”, применение полученных знаний в практической деятельности.

3.     Активизация лексического материала по теме: “Олимпийские игры”, обогащение словарного запаса.

4.     Повторение “Прошедшего простого время” и “Будущего простого время”.

Развивающие:

1.    Развитие памяти, внимания,  умение логически мыслить, быстроту реакции;

2.     Развитие языковых, познавательных способностей обучающихся, готовности к общение во всех сферах бытия.

3.     Развитие познавательного интереса у обучающихся, расширение  кругозора учащихся

4.    Формирование  умения  переходить от одного вида деятельности к другому;

Воспитательные:

1.    Развитие интереса  к изучению английского языка и физической культуры; понимание значения спорта в жизни человека

2.     Воспитывание  чувства товарищества, коллективизма, взаимопомощи и ответственности.

3.     пропаганда здорового образа жизни

4.     развитие интереса, желания общаться на английском языке, получая при этом удовольствие;

Ведущие технологии (развивающая):

обучение в сотрудничестве, игровые, здоровьесберегающая.

Инвентарь: . Спортивный инвентарь (мячи, кольца, обручи, кегли скакалки,), карточки с напечатанными словами, плакаты, флаги разных стран.

Оборудование:  Экран Мультимедийный проектор музыкальный центр, CD диски, листы ватмана, карточки с заданиями, магнитофон, воздушные шарики, аудиозаписи, элементы единой спортивной формы (красные и белые футболки).

Оформление  зала:

1.Олимпийский Огонь. Олимпийские эмблемы  XXII игр.

2.Флаги: России, Олимпийский флаг, плакаты с пословицами и поговорками, высказывание великих людей о спорте:

 «Нет ничего благороднее солнца, дающего света и тепла. Так и люди прославляют те состязания, величественнее которых нет ничего, - Олимпийские игры».

1 Ведущий: Здравствуйте, дорогие  гости и участники мероприятия «Олимпийские игры в России»! 

              Вот и настал самый волнительный момент в жизни любого спортсмена: достижение заветной цели. Очень приятно, что мы ещё раз вспомним удивительные страницы истории Олимпийского движения.

              С древних лет олимпийские игры были главным спортивным событием всех времен и народов. В дни проведения Олимпиад на всей земле воцарялись согласие и примирение. Войны прекращались, и все сильные и достойные люди соревновались в честной борьбе за звание лучшего. Конечно, современные Олимпийские игры далеки от первых соревнований олимпийцев, но и в наши дни Олимпиада – одно из крупнейших событий в мире. И каждая страна гордится выпавшей ей честью проводить Олимпийские игры у себя. В 2014 году этой чести удостоен российский город Сочи. Welcome!

Good morning, dear friends!  We are  glad to see you! We are going to talk, to listen and read about sports, Olympic Games.  We invite the mascot- The Polar Bear.

The History of the Olympic Games .

           The world's greatest international sports games are known as the Olympic Games. The Olympic Games have a very long history.

The Olympic idea means friendship, fraternity and cooperation among the people of the world. The original Olympic Games began in ancient Greece in 776 B.C. These games were part of a festival held every fourth year in honour of God Zeus at the place called Olympia. It was a great athletic festival.  When the Games took place, all the wars stopped. They were held every four years. The games were for men only.

All the cities in Greece sent their best athletes to Olympia to compete in the Games. All athletes took an oath. Winners were called «olympionics», they were awarded olive wreaths and cups of olive oil. This tradition has survived. In our time sportsmen often get cups and wreaths for winning the first place in sports competitions.

            The revival of the Olympic Games began long time afterwards, in 1892, when a young French teacher Pierre de Coubertin made a public speech before the Union of French sports clubs in Paris.

On the 23rd of June 1894 the International Congress of amateur sportsmen made an important decision: to revive the Olympic Games and to establish the International Olympic Committee which would be responsible for the administration of the modern-Olympic Games. In 1896 the International Olympic Committee was set up.

              The first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens in 1896. Then they were resumed in London after the Second World War. Since then the Olympics are held every fourth year in different countries.

             The ancient Greeks had no winter sports. Only in 1924 the first Winter Olympic Games were held in France. Now they are being held regularly. Now, there are Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Summer and Winter Games are held separately.
              Russia joined the Olympic movement in 1952. In 1980, Moscow hosted the twenty-second Summer Olympic Games. In 2014, Sochi hosted the twenty-second Winter Olympic Games.

              The Olympic idea means friendship, fraternity, and cooperation among the youth of the world. The Olympic Movement proves that real peace can be achieved through sport.

The Olympic emblem is five interlinked rings: blue, yellow, black, green and red.

The five Olympic rings are the symbol of the unity of five continents. They are of five colours – red, yellow, blue, green and black – on a white field of the Olympic Flag.They represent the five continents:

The blue is Europe
The black is Africa
The red is America
The yellow is Asia
The green is Australia
This symbol was designed in 1912 and adopted in 1914.

У4:3.    Olympic Motto"Citius, Altius, Fortius“ .  It is in Latin. .What do these words mean?  They mean: faster, higher, stronger.  The Motto of  2014 Winter Olympic Games is  “Hot. Cool. Yours”.

УЧ5:4. The mascots-талисман are  The Polar Bear, the Hare and the Leopard.

УЧ6:5. Тhe Olympic flame is one of the most important symbols of the Olympic Games. This flame is lit in memory of Prometeus.

Медвежонок: Why is sport so popular?

У1: People all over the world are fond of sport. That’s why it’s one of the things which unites people. Every morning all the year round people do their morning exercises. Television programmes about sport are very popular.

У2: Sport helps people remain healthy. It makes them disciplined in their daily activities. There are different kinds of sport: summer and winter, indoor and outdoor.

У3: To have  a healthy mind you must have a healthy body. Sport builds character. Sport makes you strong, fast, and patient.  

У4: Sport helps people to become good friends. Sport is a good way to meet people from other countries.

У5: Every year a great number of competitions are held in our country. Winners of national competitions take part in European and World Championships. The sportsmen who take the first place get gold medals. Those who take the second place get silver medals and who take the third place get bronze medals.

У6: Sport teaches you to win and to lose. It is a good chance to become a good sportsman.

Медвежонок: I want to know, is  sport popular in your school?

У1 У2:  We have always paid great attention to sport in our schools. We have a gym and  a sports ground,stadiums where local competitions are usually held.

Pupils  from our schools are fond of sport.  They like different kinds of sport activities.They tell us  about themselves.

У3: Sport is fun for girls and boys,
It’s much better than toys.
You can sledge and ski and skate
And play snowballs with Kate.
You can swim and play football,
Hockey, tennis, and basketball.
You can jump and you can run,
You can have a lot of fun.

У1 лыжи  Hello, I am Paol. I like ski. I ski every day. I ski  in the park with my friends. I want to be Champions.

У2 коньки Hello, I am Тim. I like skate and  figure skating. I  skate  every day. I  skate  in the stadion  with my friends. I want to be Champions and to win the  Olympic Games.

У3 хоккей Hello, I am Kolya. I like Ice hockey . I  have a good  stick.. I  play  ice hockey in  with my friends every day. I want to be as W.Tretyak.

У4санки Hello, I am Kate. I like toboggan races. I like winter.   I  toboggan                             every day with my brother. I want to be Champions.

1 Ведущий: (подготовить проекты)Welcome to the 2096 Olympic Games! The Olympics have changed in the last fifty years. No doubt they will change in the next hundred years, too. But how will they change? Let’s talk about the future.  Will the Olympic traditions change? What would you like to change in the Olympic traditions: the flag, the flame, the motto? Design your own Olympic flag. What does it symbolize? Design your own emblem. Why do you choose this one? What new sports will be in the Olympic  programme? Invent your own new sport. Describe the basic rules. List any equipment or special clothes needed. Design sport clothes for your country team.

У1 У2: Many pupile of our school  take part in different  tournaments and sports соmpеtitions, Sports event, Sports programmes.

Our sportsmen also win a lot of gold, silver and bronze medals in the Games.
