My mother and I went on a trip last week. It was her first time on a plane. She was both excited and worried about flying.
When we got to the airport, Mom was shocked to see how many people there were and was annoyed at the long lines. She found the check-in process tiring and was concerned that the plane would take off without us. Then she dropped her bag
and everything fell out on the floor. It was quite embarrassing.
Our long walk through the busy corridors was tiring for her. When we got to the gate, Mom was amazed by the size of the plane and not convinced anything that big could get off the ground. When we were inside, however, she was disappointed at how little place there was to move around.
Mom was amazed by how quickly the ground fell away when we took off and she thought the flight attendant’s instructions were amazing. It was funny to watch her listen so attentively.
I was surprised to see that she soon relaxed and started to read a magazine. When I was sure that she was comfortable, I went to sleep. Taking my mother on her first flight was too tiring!

2) Раздать тексты. Читаем текст. 4) Каждый придумывает 2 вопроса к тексту. Собрать перемешать и раздать в случайном порядке. 1 спрашивает, другие отвечают.
5) Задание 3 из распечатки. Сначала вместе переводим слова в скобочках.
