(на фоне грустной музыки на сцене сидит мальчик и грустит)

 

The snowflakes are falling

By one’s and by two’s,

There’s snow on my coat

And snow on my shoes.

There is snow on the planet.

And snow on the trees.

And snowflakes are all around me

Like many white bees

 

A boy:  Oh, poor me. How bad it is to be alone; no Mummy, no Daddy, and no friends. Nobody loves me. But I want to be a true friend.

(Он вздыхает, и слышит плач)

 

A boy: What is it?     (Оглядывается, находит маленькую, плачущую девочку) Who are you? Why are you crying?

A girl:  My name is Marry. I am a Christmas spirit and I am so sad.

A boy: Why? Don’t cry. Tell me what the matter is.

A girl: I am a Christmas spirit but an evil wizard has taken my Christmas bell. So I can’t be a Christmas spirit any more because every spirit must have it, without this bell Christmas can’t come. Oh! Poor me! I am afraid of the wizard and nobody can help me.

A boy: No, I’ll help you. Let’s go!

 

(Дети уходят за кулисы, выбегают животные, танцуют и поют)

We are from the forest.

Christmas is so close.

That we are all happy,

Do you want to see us stepping?

 

We are living in the forest.

And we like to dance the most.

We are happy Christmas’s near,

So presents will be here!

 

We live in such a pretty place.

There is a lot of nice lace.

That you can see everywhere.

In winter it’s quite cool here

But we will always be near

To see a smile on your face.

 

 

Yoo-hoo! It’s cool to live here. It is true.

We love our forest and we’re proud of it too.

Please, come to us and play with us

Believe it is a paradise!

 

Elf:     Hey! What are you doing? Christmas is coming! Santa is waiting for your letters! Where are they? 

A fox: (достает письмо и читает) Dear Santa, I was a very good fox. Please, give me a new hat. Thank you, very much!

A rabbit: Santa! I was a good hare. Give me a big carrot, please! Thanks.

A mouse: Santa, I want a new ribbon on my tail.

 

(выходят мальчик и девочка)

 

Elf: Hi! How I’m glad to see you. I have a lot of letters for Santa! Look!

 

(девочка начинает плакать)

 

A bear: Hey! Christmas spirit! Why are you crying?

A boy: An evil wizard has stolen her Christmas bell so Christmas can’t come.

All: What?

A fox: And what about my hat?!

A rabbit: My big carrot?!

A mouse: And my new ribbon?!

(Начинают плакать)

 

A wolf: Hey! Stop crying! Your tears can’t help! We must find this wizard and take your bell back!

A girl: But I don’t know where he is!

A raven: Is he tall?

A girl:  Yes, he is.

A raven:  Does he have black clothes?

A girl: Yes, he does.

A bear: Do you know him?

A raven: Yes, I do. He lives near the black rock.

A wolf: So we can find him! Let’s go!

 

(Дети исполняют песню и танцуют, уходят за кулисы.)

We face the forest

We want the most

To find her Christmas, little Christmas bell.

 

Hey! Wizard, listen!

We want to have Christmas!

Please, let us have this holiday today!

 

 

 

We aren’t afraid of evil magic!

We aren’t afraid of his bad words.

Because together we will be able

To get what everybody wants!

 

Wizard: It’s not quiet here now! I don’t like children! I don’t like laugh! And I hate Christmas! It’s a family holiday but I have no family. I have no friends and so nobody will have Christmas! Ha-ha-ha! Because I have a Christmas bell! Ha-ha-ha!

A girl: It’s my bell! Give it to me!

Wizard: No, now it’s mine!  Step aside, you, stupid babies! How dare you come here?

Animals: We want to save Christmas!

A boy: Why don’t you like Christmas? It’s good to get presents and to give presents to your friends!

Wizard: Because I have no friends and nobody gives me presents!

Elf: (читает авторов писем) But where is your letter, my little friend?

Wizard: I can’t write.

Animals: Hey! Don’t worry! We can help you!

Raven: My dear friend, I am ready to write (достает перо и бумагу) what do you want?

And sing Christmas carols

Tomorrow we’ll sing them

I would like to have a car,

What are you talking, ah?

For driving as a big star!

 

I would like to say to you

And we would like to listen

That I’m glad to meet you

And really we are pleased, too

Christmas is the best time

Sure, and this bell’s mine

For stopping all the world’s crime!

 

So we are going to play

All our problems are far away

We just want to say to you “Have a nice day!”

We are so happy!

 

Elf: (убирает письмо, написанное вороном в процессе пения, в сумку) Okey! I can go now. Because Santa is waiting for me!

 

(Девочка начинает плакать)

 

Boy: Why are you crying now, Christmas spirit?

Girl: Christmas will not come!

Wizard: What? What did you say? Why?

Girl: Because you have my bell!

Wizard: Oops! Do you mean this one?

Girl: Yes! It is mine! Will you be so kind to give it to me?

Wizard: Of course! I will! It is yours. Take it.

Girl: Now Christmas is coming! Merry Christmas, my dear friends!

Wizard: Yes, friends, it’s really cool that we are together!
