There is a huge New Years tree in the centre of the room. There are many different toys. Among them we can see two puppets – a girl and a boy. The music sounds….Puppets begin dancing …. Suddenly the steps are heard. Puppets stop dancing and freeze in pose. A girl is coming in the room. Girl: Today is the 25th of December, the Christmas Eve. And I am alone, absolutely alone ( pulling the string of the puppet). Only my toys are with me. Why do I always stay alone, even in Christmas? Why don’t I still have parents? Why? Why? ( sitting down, closing her eyes and crying). The magic music sounds. The puppets are coming to life and approaching to the girl. The girl puppet: Don’t be sad Anzhela. The boy puppet: Don’t cry. We will help you. Youll never forget this Christmas. The girl opens her eyes and jumps Girl: How is it possible? What is happening? The girl puppet: Weve been living together for 5 years . At night when everyone sleeps and everything is quiet we turn into speaking dolls and save your dreams. The boy puppet: Every night when you fall asleep we get into your dreams and try to make them much more happier. Girl: That’s why I can fly every night, I can do everything I want, I can buy everything I want. And I can meet my parents. The girl puppet: What do you wish for Christmas? The boy puppet: What can we do for you to make this celebration unbelievable and the most exciting experience in your life? Girl: Well, let me think…a box of ice-cream? A truck of chocolate? Oh , no, no, no. A kilo of chupa-chups? The girl puppet: May be you want to see your parents? Girl: Is it possible? The boy puppet: Youre so smart, kind, lovely and cute girl. You try to help everyone , solve their problems, give an useful advice. But you are 7 and you are still an orphan. Girl: Thank you so much! But how can you do this? The girl puppet: Well but we are the magic puppets. The boy puppet: Give us your hands and you should count from 10 to 1. Girl: I can do this. Its very simple! They hold their hands and stand in a circle. The girl begins to count. Girl: ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one… Nothing is happening… The girl puppet;: we have forgotten – today is the Christmas Eve. We cant do anything without Father Frost! The boy puppet: lets call Father Frost together! (appeals to the audience) Firecracker explodes and Father Frost is coming into the room. Father Frost: OOohoho. Hello children , hello dolls, hello guests. Im glad to see you. Today is the magic day, the Christmas Eve. What can I do for you , Anzhela? Girl: Well , Im so lonely…I want to have the real family . I promise I will be very behave myself. Father Frost: I believe you little girl. I have been watching for you for many years. I know the only thing you need is to have parents. ( appeals to the puppets) Can we help this girl? The puppets: Certainly we can! Father Frost: Anzhela do you know any poems about winter? Girl: Of course I do! 1.The boy puppet: This is the season When children ski. And Father Frost brings A New Year tree. 2. The girl puppet: The snow is falling, The north wind is blowing. The ground is white All day and all night. 3. Girl: Snow is on the grass. Snow is on the tree. Snow is on the house But it is not on me Father Frost: Excellent! And now I am going to say a charm….. Snowflakes fall on trees and walk, Snowflakes fall as white as chalk, Snowflakes fall into my hand, Snowflakes brighten up our land. The music sounds and the puppets are whirling and suddenly turning into the girl′s parents. The girl is running to her mummy and daddy, they are hugging. Girl: Mummy, daddy. I cant believe it. Dear children, make a ring, Make a ring, make a ring, We will dance and we will sing, Dance and sing, dance and sing!
