Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please.

Who is on duty today? Who is absent?

The theme of our lesson is “Tips for students. Are they useful?”

 Our main goals for today are:

• to review grammar material about reported speech;
• to check your h/t;
• to speak about different types of students and to do a short quiz to modify your own type.

Do a quiz at p. 66 and decide what your type is.

Join into groups according to your numbers. What type of students dominates in your group? Look through the appropriate text and discuss it.  What do you think about the tips given in it? Are they useful? Vote within your group and name 3 the most important tips from your point of view.
