Урок 47. Презентация проектов по теме «Родная страна и англоязычные страны»

Цели: закрепление навыков подготовки и презентации проекта; развитие навыков монологической речи; введение страноведческой информации по теме «Эмблемы городов России»; активизация грамматических навыков.

Ход урока

I.  Организационный момент

-                   Sit down, please! We'll spend today's lesson preparing for a test and comparing English-speaking countries and our country.

II.  Фонетическая зарядка

-                  And now it's time to practise today's vocabulary. You can see two columns of words on the blackboard. Will you read them aloud, in a whisper? Let's read them after Kate. Can you match the words from the first column and the second one to make up the word combinations?

Ученики читают слова хором и по одному, громко и шепотом, повторяют слова хором за одним учеником. Задание - соотнести слова из первого и второго столбиков и составить словосочетания.

Примерные слова на доске:

 national floral historic traditional largest multinational culture official

cities colours country symbols elements names saint conflicts

 

Примерные словосочетания:

Floral symbols, national saint, historic colours, traditional elements, largest cities, multinational country, culture conflicts, official names, etc.

III.   Речевая разминка

-                     I'd like you to complete some statements about Russia, Great Britain and America. You will listen to the beginnings of the sentences and finish them. Is everything clear?

Примерные предложения учителя:

1.                The official name of Great Britain is... (the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

2.                 The American flag is known as... (the Stars and Stripes.)

3.                 The Russian flag consists of... (three equal stripes of white, blue and red.)

4.                The poetic name of our country... (is Rus.)

5.                The longest river in the USA is... (the Mississippi.)

6.                English is the official language... (of Great Britain and the USA.)

7.                The population of the Russian Federation is... (147 million people.)

8.                There are four historic parts in the UK:…. ( England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).

9.                The Russian National Emblem is... (the golden double-headed Eagle)

10. The Red Rose is the floral... (of England.)

IV. Развитие навыков монологической речи

-                    It's time to remember the floral symbols of Great Britain. You can see these symbols on the blackboard. Choose the most interesting and poetic legend and tell your classmates about one floral symbols.

устное выполнение упр. 108, стр. 97 из учебника. Задание для учащихся - рассказать легенду о каком-либо символе данной страны. Учащиеся сначала готовят рассказ самостоятельно в течение 1-2 минут, а затем работают в парах. В конце данного этапа урока рассказы 3-4 человек заслу­шиваются всем классом.

V. Физкультминутка

VI.   Введение страноведческой информации по теме «Эмблемы городов России». Проверка домашнего задания

-                   Look at the pictures of exercise 109, page 98 in your textbooks. You can see the emblems of some Russian cities and regions. You will answer the questions and describe these emblems and the emblem of our region. Shall we start?

VII.   Презентация проектов по теме «Родная страна и англоязычные страны»

-                   We have researched three countries this month. Let's talk about their flags, emblems, symbols, dates and statistics. We shall listen to three groups - three projects. Get ready to ask the questions to your classmates and share your ideas about Russia, Great Britain and America. Who will be the first to speak today? Who is the next to speak? I'd like to have your opinion. Will you help me to put up the pictures? The photos and the pictures on the blackboard will help you to present your country.

презентация проектов по темам «Амери­ка», «Великобритания» и «Россия». В конце урока необ­ходимо подвести итоги проектной работы и выполнить упр. 111, стр. 98 из учебника.

VIII.  Активизация грамматических навыков

-                  It's time to practise grammar and remember the Present Perfect Tense and the Present Perfect Continuous Tense.


Следующее задание выполняется в устной форме.

Use Present Perfect or Present Perfect Continuous in the following sentences.

1.                 Kate - to water the flowers for forty minutes - to water half of them.

2.                  Jack - to read humorous stories since two o'clock - to read three stories.

3.                  Helen - to do the shopping for an hour - to buy ten books.

4.                  Bill - to write the letters since five o'clock - to write two letters.

5.                  They - to build the houses since 2006 - to build five houses.

6.                  Susan - to translate the texts for three hours - to translate four texts.

7.                  Nick is tired - to watch videos since two o'clock - to see two films.

8.1 - to learn English idioms for twenty minutes - to learn seven idioms.

9. Robin-Bobin- to eat sweets since morning - to eat one hundred sweets.

10. We - to play table tennis for half an hour - to win three games.

Keys:
