Урок 57. Изучаем косвенную речь

Цели: активизация и обобщение грамматического материала по теме «Косвенная речь»; развитие лексических навыков по теме «Конфликт»; совершенствование навыков аудирования по теме «Конфликт»; систематизация знаний учащихся по теме «Способы словообразования: конверсия».

Ход урока

II.  Тренировка фонетических и лексических навыков

-      It's time to practise today's vocabulary. Look at the blackboard and read some words on it. Who can translate the words? Read the words in pairs, please. Will you read the names of goods? Can you make up the word combinations to name the kinds of conflicts?

Прочитать слова, составить словосочетания

family                                  neighbours

military                                teachers

national                              friends

state                                    political

serious                               conflicts

reunion                              parents

Keys:

Kinds of conflicts: national conflicts, conflicts between friends, family conflicts, conflicts between neighbours, military conflicts, political conflicts, etc.

III. Обобщение грамматического материала по теме «Косвенная речь»

-      Very often we are asked about something that has been said or thought in the past. If we want to be understood, we must follow the rules of the Reported Speech. You can see the examples of the reported statements in your textbook, page 107, "Grammar Focus".

IV. Закрепление введенного грамматического материала

-      Let's practise the Reported Speech in the sentences. Listen to my sentences and rephrase them using the Reported Speech.

Задание - пере­фразировать предложения, используя косвенную речь в своих предложениях.

Примерные предложения учителя:

1.  К a t e. My mother didn't shout at me yesterday.

2.  M i к e (told Liz). I respect honest people.

3.  D i с к. I am sure it is important to be devoted to your friends.

4.  H e 1 e n (told her friend). The atmosphere will be friendly in my family.

5.  S u s a n. I haven't understood my parents.

6.  A1 e x. My teacher didn't like my essay.

VI.  Развитие лексических навыков по теме «Конфликт»

-      Today we shall learn some new words on the topic "Conflict". You can see them in your textbooks, page 107, exercise 18. We shall listen to the sentences and you will try to guess these words. Now look at the blackboard and repeat the words after me.

упр. 18, стр. 107 из учебни­ка. Задание для учащихся - прослушать предложения из данного упражнения и догадаться об их значении.

VII.  Совершенствование навыков аудирования

-      It's time to listen to the second part of the story "The Rose Pin". You'll listen to the text and choose the correct answers to the questions of exercise 19, page 108. Are you ready to start? Will you read the first question and answer it?

упр. 19, стр. 108 из учебника. Учащиеся прослушивают рассказ и обводят правильные варианты ответов на вопросы из данного упражнения

VIII.Систематизация знаний учащихся по теме «Способы словообразования: конверсия»

-      Let's have a talk about the ways of word building. Open youi textbooks, page 108, exercise 21. You can see different words there. Each word can be used as a noun and as a verb. Will you read and translate the words from this exercise? Can you give your own examples? (A play - пьеса, to play - играть, love -

любовь, to love - любить, water - вода, to water - поливать, etc.). Make up the sentences using these words.

выполнение упр. 21, стр. 108 из учебника. Сначала прочитать и при необходимости перевести слова из рамочки, а затем составить различные пред­ложения.

IX. Закрепление навыков монологической речи

-      Let's divide into groups of four. You will work in groups and describe the picture of exercise 22, page 109 in your textbooks. We shall listen to your stories in five minutes. Your time is up. I'd like you to listen to the stories and choose the best one.

Учащиеся делятся на группы по 4 человека для выполнения упр. 22, стр. 109.

X.  Подведение итогов урока
