Урок 59. Условные придаточные предложения

Цели: совершенствование навыков устной речи по теме «Кон­фликт»; активизация грамматических навыков (условные прида­точные предложения); формирование лексических навыков (мно­гозначность слов).

Ход урока

II. Активизация лексических и фонетических навыков

-      I want you to look at the blackboard. Can you read the words on it? Read the first (second, third) column. Read the words after Mike (Nelly). Find the odd words in each list.

Keys: 1 столбик - values (все слова первого столбика - прилагательные, а данное слово - существительное); 2 столбик - reunion (данное слово в единственном числе); 3 столбик - transportation (псе слова третьего столбика - глаголы, а данное слово - существительное).

упр. 30, стp. 111 из учебника в устной форме.

III. Закрепление навыков монологической речи. Активизация изученного материала по теме «Конфликт»

-      Now you will agree or disagree with me. Listen to me carefully. If I am right, repeat my sentence. If I am not right, disagree with me.

Игра «Согласен — не согласен»

1.  It is impossible to prevent all the conflicts. (/ agree with you. It is impossible to prevent all the conflicts.)

2.  Very often people have conflicts because they listen to each other well. (I disagree with you. Very often people have conflicts when they do not listen to each other well.)

3.  If people respect each other, they resolve conflicts in a peaceful way. (I agree with you. If people respect each other, they resolve conflicts in a peaceful way.)

7.  It is not important to know why conflicts happen in a family. (/ disagree with you. It is important to know why conflicts happen in a family.) Etc.

IV. Формирование лексических навыков (многозначность слов)

-      As you know, some English words can have several meanings. Can you name such words e. g. hand, get, subject, peace, machine, etc.? I'd like you to read the information "Learning to Learn" from the table in exercise 2, page 35. Will you try to read the definitions of the words from exercise 31, page 111? Find out which of the definitions are used in the text of exercise 27, page 110 in your textbooks. Look through the text and find the examples of using these words in the text.

упр. 31, стр. 111  Сначала ученики выполняют данное задание в течение 2 минут, просматривая текст из упр. 27, стр. 110 в учебнике. Затем они осуществляют взаимопроверку в парах и обсуждают свои ва­рианты с партнером. В конце данного этапа урока учащиеся вы­полняют упр. 32,стр. 112 из учебника.

VI. Активизация грамматических навыков по теме «Условные придаточные предложения»

-      It's time to remember zero conditionals. Look at the blackboard, please. Let's read the examples from the table "Grammar Focus" and try to translate the sentences. Can you make up your own examples? Who is ready to start?

 упр. 33, стр. 112 из учебника.

VII.  Закрепление грамматического материала по теме «Условные придаточные предложения» в устной речи

-      Let's practise zero conditional sentences. You will finish the sentences in exercise 34, page 112. Get ready to share your ideas. Listen to the sentences of your classmates and agree or disagree with them.

Задание - закончить предложения из упр. 34, стр. 112. Задание для всех учеников - внимательно прослушать утверждения однокласс­ников и выразить свое согласие или несогласие с ними.

VIII.  Совершенствование навыков устной речи

-   It is interesting to find the examples of family conflicts in the books, films and pictures. Look at the picture of exercise 35,page 113 in your textbooks. Read the task and answer some questions. Divide into pairs, please. One of you will ask the questions and his/her partner will answer them.

упр. 35, стр. 113. Первая часть данного упражнения выполняется фронтально, а вторая часть - в парах.
