Урок 63. Студенческий форум

Цели: обобщение изученного материала по теме «Конфликт»; активизация фонетических и лексических навыков; совершенство­вание навыков монологической речи.

Ход урока

I.  Организационный момент

-      We'll spend today's lesson preparing a presentation for a students' forum on conflict.

II.  Фонетическая зарядка

-      Let's play a new game. Be active and try to remember as many English words on the topic "Can We Learn to Live in Peace?" as you can.

Игра «Назови рифму»

•      Solution. (Resolution.)

•      Union. (Reunion.)

•      Ships. (Relationships.)

•      Niece. (Peace.)

•      Seen. (Mean.)

•      Possible. (Impossible.)

III.  Речевая разминка

-      As I know, you like to play very much. Today we shall play the game "Be Attentive". One pupil will think of the word and other pupils will try to guess it.

Игра «Будь внимателен»

Один из учащихся выходит к доске и загадывает слово по теме «Конфликт». Ученики пытаются отгадать загаданное слово. В на­чале игры ученик дает наводящую подсказку, например: It is the kind of conflicts.

Pupil 1. Is it "a family conflict"?

Ведущий. No, it is not.

Pupil 2. Is it "a war"?

Ведущий. No, it is not.

Pupil 3. Is it "a conflict between neighbours"?

Ведущий. Yes, it is.

IV. Активизация изученного материала по теме «Конфликт». Тренировка навыков устной речи

-      I'd like you to finish my sentences. Share your ideas on conflict.

Закончите предложения (устно)

Примерные предложения учителя:

1. A conflict is... (an argument between people, groups, countries, etc.).

2.1 tell lies to my friends if... (I don't want to upset them).

3.1 am sure people can prevent... (the wars on our planet.)

4.  Conflicts often happen... (when people have different ideas or values).

5.  Conflicts can lead to... (violence and bad relations with people).

6.  I respect people... (who never shout at other people).

7.  It makes me feel down when... (my friends betray me).

8.  Political parties should resolve conflicts by... (peaceful means).

9.  It is possible that people will prevent... (military conflicts).

10. We must respect... (the rights of other people). Etc.

VI. Работа в группах. Подготовка устного выступления - презентации

-      It's time to divide into groups of four. You will open your textbooks, page 117, exercise 50. Today we shall prepare the presentation for a students' forum. The guidelines from this exercise will help us decide what to speak about. The topic of the forum is "Conflict". Read the questions one by one and translate them.

Учащимся разделиться на группы по 4 че­ловека для выполнения упр. 50, стр. 117. Сначала ученики читают и переводят вопросы из данного упражнения, а затем об­суждают их в группах. Время работы в группе - 8-10 минут.

VII.               Презентация проектов по теме «Можем ли мы жить в мире?»

-       We have researched the topic "Can We Learn to Live in Peace?" this month. We shall listen to three groups - three presentations. Get ready to ask the questions to your classmates. Who will be the first to speak today? Who is the next to speak? I'd like to have your opinion. The photos and the pictures on the blackboard will help you to present your ideas. Учитель организует презентацию рассказов по теме «Кон­фликт». Ученики из каждой группы по очереди представляют свои рассказы по теме. Перед классом выступают все члены группы.

VIII. Подведение итогов урока
