Урок 64. Советы для решения конфликта

Цели: развитие навыков аудирования с целью извлечения ос­новной информации; активизация грамматических и лексических навыков; формирование навыков чтения и навыков устной речи.

Ход урока

I.  Организационный момент

-      Let's start our work. Today we are going to listen to the dialogue and find out what can help two brothers live in peace.

II.  Речевая разминка

-       First I want you to agree or disagree with my statements. If my sentence is true, you will repeat it. If it is false, you will correct it.

Выразить свое согласие или несогласие со следующими утверждениями:

1. You and your brother get on well. (It is true. I and my brother get on well.)

2.  You never shout at your younger sister. (It is false. I sometimes shout at my younger sister.)

3.  Your relatives can resolve conflicts peacefully. (It is true. My relatives can resolve conflicts peacefully.)

4.  You have fights with your friends every day. (It is false. I never have fights with my friends.)

5.  You shouldn't listen to other people. (It is false. I should listen to other people.)

6.  You are always polite. (It is true. I am always polite.)

7.  You don't want to learn about conflicts resolution. (It is false. I want to learn about conflict resolution.)

8.  You often ignore your friend's opinion. (It is false. I seldom ignore my friend's opinion.) Etc.

III.  Развитие навыков аудирования с извлечением основной информации

-      It's time to open our textbooks, page 118. Look at the picture, please. Whom can you see in the picture? What are people saying? Read the task of exercise 51, page 118, please. You'll listen to the dialogue and answer three questions.

Рассмотреть картинку из упр. 51, стр. 118. Затем ученики прослушивают диалог из данного упражнения. Задание для уча­щихся - ответить на вопросы по содержанию диалога. В конце данного этапа урока ответить на вопрос: «What kind of conflict is it?».

IV. Активизация грамматического материала по теме «Сложное дополнение»

-      It's time to remember the use of the Infinitive in the English language. Let's read and translate the examples from exercise 52, page 118. You can see that we use the Infinitive with to and without to. Will you read the task of exercise 53, page 119? Make up the sentences using the given words and phrases.

Вспомнить материал по теме «Сложное дополнение» (упр. 52, стр. 118 из учебника). После обсуждения правила и примеров, которые иллюстрируют употребление инфинитива в различных случаях, учениками в устной форме выполняется упр. 53, стр. 119.

V. Активизация навыков устной речи. Закрепление лексических навыков по теме «Конфликт»

-      I am sure, you have understood the story about the conflict in this family well. Have you got any ideas what will happen? Let's read the task of exercise 54, page 119. You'll work in pairs and share ideas with your partner.

Работа в парах - упр. 54, стр. 119 из учебни­ка. Время работы в парах - 2-3 минуты. Также на данном этапе урока дети выполняют упр. 55, стр. 119 в письменной форме. Задание для учащихся - вставить слова в текст данного упражнения. Упр. 55, стр. 119 проверяется фронтально.

VII.  Формирование навыков чтения и письма

-      As we know, Ann Smith has written a letter to the editor of the journal and asked him for advice. Now we shall read the editor's answer that was published in the magazine. It's exercise 56, page 120 in your textbooks. The task for you is to read the letter to yourself and answer the questions before the text. Who is ready to answer the questions? Will you read the sentences from the letter to prove your opinion?

VIII.   Активизация навыков диалогической речи

I'd like you to divide into pairs. One of you will be Ann Smith and her partner will be Mr Hanks. The words and word combinations from exercise 57, page 120 will help you discuss the problem. Work in pairs and make up the dialogues. Your time is up. Who will be the first to act out the dialogue?

Работа в парах для выполнения упр. 57, стр. 120 из учебника. Время для подготовки диалога в парах - 4 ми­нуты.

IX. Подведение итогов урока
