Урок 66. Конфликты в школьной жизни

Цели: закрепление грамматических навыков по темам «Кос­венная речь: вопросительные предложения» и «Условные при­даточные предложения»; введение фразового глагола to put и его первичное закрепление; совершенствование навыков устной речи по теме «Конфликты в школьной жизни».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

-      Let's start our work. Today we shall have a talk and find out how to prevent conflicts in our school life.

II.  Активизация грамматического материала по теме «Косвенная речь: вопросительные предложения»

-                                                              Today we shall continue to learn the reported speech. I want you to look at the table on the blackboard. You can see the questions in the direct speech and the sentences in the reported speech. Let's read the examples in your textbooks. It's

устно выполняется упр. 66, стр. 123.

III.  Закрепление грамматического материала в устной речи

-      Divide into groups of three. We shall ask and answer the questions on the topic "Conflict Resolution" and also remember the reported speech. One pupil will ask the question, the second pupil will answer the question and the third pupil will comment their speech. Use the word combinations from the cards to ask the questions.

Для проведения устной работы на данном этапе урока ученики делятся на группы по 3 человека. Работа организуется следующим образом: один из учеников задает вопрос своему партнеру, кото­рый отвечает на него, а затем третий член группы пересказывает данный мини-диалог, используя косвенную речь. В конце этого этапа урока учитель предлагает нескольким группам представить свою работу перед классом.

Примерная работа учеников в группе:

Pupil 1. What do you usually do to prevent a quarrel?

Pupil 2.1 try to understand people who disagree with me.

Pupil 3. Ann asked Kate what she did to prevent a quarrel. Kate told her that she tried to understand people who disagreed with her.

Pupil 2. What does the word "conflict" mean?

Pupil 3. The word "conflict" means an argument between people.

Pupil 1. Kate asked Mary what the word "conflict" meant and Helen answered that it meant an argument between people.

Pupil 3. Why do people have conflicts?

Pupil 1. They do not listen to each other well. Pupil 2. Mary asked Ann why people had conflicts and Ann answered that people had conflicts if they didn't listen to each other well. Etc.

IV. Введение нового фразового глагола to put и его первичное закрепление

-      Let's learn the new phrasal verb to put. You can see it in exercise 67, page 123. Who can read the first example? Can you guess it? Read the word combinations after me, please. Work in pairs. Now read the words one by one.

Словосочетания из упр. 67, стр. 123 и знакомство учащихся с новым фразовым глаго­лом to put.

устной форме выполняется упр. 68, стр. 123 из учебника.

V. Активизация фразового глагола to put в письменной речи

-      It's time to work in pairs. You will think of the instructions. Don't forget that the sentences mustn't be very long.

VII.  Активизация грамматических навыков по теме «Условные придаточные предложения»

-      It's time to remember the conditional sentences. Read the sentences in exercise 70, page 124 and translate the rule and the example. The next task for you is exercise 71, page 124 in your textbooks. Read the situations and make up the conditional sentences.

упр. 71, стр. 124 из учебника. Ученики зачитывают правило и примеры к нему вслух, а затем выполняют упр. 71, стр. 124 в устной форме.

Примерные ситуации:

1.  I'll have a quarrel with my best friend. I'll ask my mother for advice.

2.  I'll have no time to look after my sister. My cousin will help me.

3.  I'll be independent on my parents. I'll buy a new computer.

4.  I'll be late for classes. My teacher will be angry. Etc.

VIII. Совершенствование навыков устной речи по теме «Конфликты в школьной жизни»

-      Will you open your textbooks, page 124, exercise 72? Kate will read the task. You will choose one of the situations in the picture and prepare a list of the steps to prevent conflicts in your school life. You will have 5 minutes to prepare the list. Your time is up. Who will be the first?

упр. 72, стр. 124 из учеб­ника. Задание для учащихся — составить инструкцию для ре­шения различных конфликтных ситуаций в школьной жизни. В качестве наглядной опоры используются картинки на стр. 124 из учебника. Ученики делятся на группы по 3 человека. Время выполнения задания - 5 минут
