Внеклассное мероприятие «The day of St. Valentine» на английском языке

                                     (участники:  учащиеся 9-10 кл).

Цели и задачи:

-развитие  эстетического вкуса,

-навыков артистизма,

-развитие сценического духа,                      

- развитие коммуникативных навыков,                

-формирование навыков и умений работы в команде.

Ход мероприятия:

 (Сцена украшена сердечками, воздушными шарами, валентинками, плакатом

« I LOVE YOU» на разных языках:

English - I love you, I adore you

French – le l’aime

German – Ich liebe dich

Italian – Ti amo

Spanish – Te amo

Tarkish – Seni sevijorum

Ukrainian – ja tebe kokhaju  

Russian - Я тебя люблю…

На сцене навстречу друг другу медленно идут юноша и девушка (Ведущие праздника. Юноша читает стихотворение девушке и дарит розу).

Boy: Here is a special valentine

With lots of love for you

And since you’ve very special

Here are hugs and kisses, too!

(Затем ведущие поворачиваются к зрителям и здороваются)

Boy: Ladies and Gentlemen! We glad to see you.

Girl: It’s lovely to meet you here, at Valentine’s party!

Boy: Love, love me, do

You know I love you,

I’ll always be true,

So please, love me do.

Girl: Someone to love,

Somebody new,

Someone to love,

Someone like you.

Boy: I hope that Valentine’s Day

Will bring you lot’s of fun

He thinks you’are extra-specially nice,

And so does everyone!!!

Girl: It’s here again the day, when boys and girls, sweetheart and lovers, friends will exchange greetings of undying love.

Well, St. Valentine’s Day, the 14^th of February, has been customary day for choosing Sweethearts and exchanging valentines.

Boy: St. Valentine’s Day is a religious holiday, which is celebrated in Great Britain, in many European countries. As you know, one of the early symbols of Love was Cupid, the Roman God of Lover, who is represented as a young boy with a bow and arrow.

(Звучит тихая музыка. Зажигается прожектор. Медленно идет священник).

The priest: My children! I’ve come to you from the distant past, to remind you of kindness and love, friendship and patience in your violent world.

Boy: Welcome and take us to the first century when the Roman Emperor Claudius Ш ruled our country.

(Свет выключается, из-за кулис слышится голос: «This is the legend of how St. Valentine’s Day began.)

The  Roman Emperor Claudius II needed soldiers, he made the law against marrying because he felt that marriage made men want to stay at home instead of fighting wars.

Girl: But at that time there was a kind priest named Valentines. He couldn’t agree with the emperor’s decision.  When he saw that young couples were truly in love, he married them secretly.

(Далее идет инсценировка легенды. Выходят девушка и юноша. Они падают на колени перед священником и умоляют совершить обряд бракосочетания)

The Priest: My daughter! My son! I declare you – husband and wife.

(Звучит марш Мендельсона. Врывается стража).

Soldier: Priest, you have been discovered and condemned to death! To prison, to tower!

(Священник в тюрьме. Входит тюремщик с дочерью).

The priest: What a lovely girl.

The jailer: This is my daughter. She is blind. She will never see the light.

The priest: I’ll help her by working a miracle!

(Через некоторое время с помощью священника зрение возвращается к дочери тюремщика. Девушка радуется).

Girl: Valentine, I’m so grateful to you/ Even in prison you showed the love to everyone and restored my eyesight.

The priest: Unfortunately, tomorrow on the 14^th of February, I will have to die. But I’m not scared and I want to tell everybody on Earth «I love you. I’m your Valentine».

(Все вместе поют песню «Let me call you Sweetheart».

Let me call you sweetheart,

I’m in love with you

Let me hear with you,

That you love me too

Keeps the love light glowing

 I your eyes so true

Let me call you sweetheart,

I’m in love with you

Let me call you sweetheart,

I’m in love with you

Girl: This is one of the ways how the English girls get to know their fortunes on St. Valentine’s Eve. They take an apple and out it in four parts, count the seeds from the apple and find the fortune in the poem.

One – I love

Two – I love

Three – I love, I say

F0ur – I love with all my heart

Five – I cast away

Six – He loves

Seven – she loves

Eight – They both love

Nine – he comes

Ten – he tarries

Eleven – he courts

Twelve – he marries.

(Далее ведущие и другие участники читают стихи)……

Girl 1: Your heart is like a treasure,

A source of wealth to keep

Impossible to measure

Unfathomably deep.

Girl 2: Your love is like the ocean

That reaches deep inside

My heart sweet with emotion

And I can’t stem the tide

Boy 1: I’ll love you dear, I’ll love you

Till China and Africa meet

And rives jump over the mountain

And the salmon sings in the street

Boy 2: You are my sunshine

My only sunshine

You make me happy, when skies are grey

You’ll never know, dear,

How much I love you,

My love for you is

As high as a mountain

And as deep as the sea!

Be my Valentine!!!                                                     

Girl 3: Here’s a Valentine

And this it’s for

To say that every day

You loved

More, more, more.

Boy 3: I hope that Valentine’s Day

Will bring you lots of fun

I think you are extra – especially nice

And so does everyone.

Ведущие: Now, dear boys and girls, let’s play.

1. Для игры «Валентин и Валентина» ведущий предлагает выбрать пары.

(Участники пишут свои имена и отдают  ведущим. Звучит музыка.)

Когда записки собраны, ведущие достают их по одной и объявляют пары.

(Для конкурса дети рассказывают in English о себе,  своих увлечениях) Пары под музыку проходят по сцене. Члены жюри выставляют баллы.

2. Участникам конкурса предлагается прочитать наизусть стихотворение о любви. (Д/з)

Например:  Roses are red,

                    Violets are blue

                    Sugar is sweet

                     And so you are.

3. Для конкурса открыток с пожеланиями требуются цветная и белая бумага, фломастеры, ножницы, клей… Каждая пара готовит открытку in English для другой пары.

Например: For a nice pair

                   For special friend or for special friends

                   Wouldn’t let this day go by                                                                 

                   Without a special Valentine «HI»!

4. Викторина «What do you know about «St. Valentine’s day? »

- Who was the Valentine who lived 300 years after the death of Jesus Chris in the Roman Empire? (A Christian priest).

- What is St. Valentine’s Day now? (It’s a day of sweet-hearts).

- What holiday did people celebrate in Rome many years ago? (A Roman holiday, held in honor of the Goddess of Love).

-What can you do on this day?

- send a postcard with the words of love to any person,

- bake a special cake,

-make a special present in the form of a heart,

- send roses,.

(За правильные ответы участники пол

- send «Valentines» and greetings вручают «валентинки»).

5. Девочки и мальчики стоят напротив друг друга на расстоянии 10 шагов. Они делают друг другу комплименты на каждый шаг, пока не встретятся.

Например: my sweet, you are great, you are the best, you are beautiful, you are wonderful, you are nice, you are pretty and so on.

(Побеждает пара, которая не ошиблась и без пауз произнесла все комплименты друг другу. Они получают 5 баллов.

6.Участникам даются слова «Valentine’s Day». Из букв этих слов составить возможные слова и записать их на листочке, на котором  обозначена фамилия. На выполнение задания отводится 4 минуты. Участники конкурса прочитывают свои слова. Побеждает пара, у которой без ошибок большее количество слов.

Жюри  подсчитывает баллы и определяет победителя и призёров.

Вечер завершается танцами.
