There is a special flower for each month of the year.
The snowdrop is the flower for January. It is as white as snow.
February's flower is the primrose. Primroses can be white, yellow, red, pink, rose, purple and orange.
The flower of the month of March is the daffodil. The flowers are usually yellow.
April's flowers are daisies.
The flower for May is the hawthorn. Its blossoms are pink, white or red.
June's flower is the honeysuckle.
July's flowers are water lilies. They can be deep yellow, white, pink,blue or purple.
The flower for August is the poppy. Poppies have bright red, orange, purple or yellow flowers.
The morning glory is the flower for September. It is a climbing plant with blue or purple flowers.
October's flower is the hop. It is green.
The flower for November is the chrysanthemum .This flower can be white, yellow, red, purple or pink.
December's plant is the holly. It has got red berries and green leaves.
