Now you need match the pictures animals  to the words  and practice pronunciation Teacher divided the class into 3 group with puzzle   animals’ picture. Introduce with the new theme: T.: How do you think what about will we speak at the  lesson?  Cl.: about animals  Teacher ask students to write/speak in pairs a short explanation of their opinion about the topic you are starting to study. This can then be revisited at the  end of the lesson/unit.    animals picture READING AND SPEAKING Vocabulary and pronunciation Exercise 3 p.41 Whole class.  Pupils will repeat the new words which are written on the  blackboard.Then practice the pronunciation. Each student  is given a card (or several cards) with learned words. Then the teacher reads a text, as soon as the student hears his  word in it, he immediately gets up, repeats this word,  shows the card. Exercise 7 Pair work. Choose a picture. Talk to your  partner about this animal. You may draw a diagram.  Exercise 8 p.43. Whole class.  The game:  Who am I?   Choose one animal and describe  its characteristics for other group.  I will describe an animal, students will respond with  correct animal. What do you know about it?   Students  can say some sentences about  it. Home task. Exercise  9 p.43 find an animal and draw a diagram about  it. End 3min Evaluation  Tree Ask students where they feel they are on the tree in relation to the lesson or topic.  Make the tree into a whole­class feedback tool by asking students to put a post­it note on the board for where they are at. Or, print off a large copy get  students to write where they  are. Could be used subsequently to pair students/make groups.
