Задачи:

1.     Совершенствовать навыки аудирования.

2.     Развивать творческие способности школьников.

3.     Воспитывать умение работать в команде.

Оборудование: карточки для записи темы, картинка с изображениями животных, аудиозапись с голосами животных, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока.

       I.      Hello, everybody. Today we’ll have an unusual lesson: we are going to sing and play, write and speak English. I hope that you know a lot on the topic. But what is it? We’ve got a telegram from Great Britain and it will help us to guess what we’re going to deal with.

Telegram: Hi, boys and girls. Do you know the English alphabet? Do you know the numerals? Let me see. I hope, you will be lucky.

         У каждого ученика карточка с цифрами (1-10). Учитель диктует буквы вразброс, дети записывают.

№4 is letter i                            №3 is letter n

№8 is letter s                           №7 is letter l

№2 is letter a                           №5 is letter m

№6 is letter a

Карточки собираются, за каждое верное слово команде присуждается 1 балл.

    II.      No more lessons

        For today,

        Now is time

        For merry play.

         Let’s play. You see, we’re going to speak about animals. Look at the picture, find and name animals.     

         Команды по очереди называют животных на картинке.

 III.      Listen to some animal sounds. Which animal are they? (Аудиозапись). Ученики прослушивают голоса животных, раскладывают картинки в соответствии с записью.

         [1. cow, 2. sheep, 3. lion, 4. horse, 5. monkey, 6. parrot]

IV.      And now let’s see if you can guess the riddles.

1) My paws are big and strong,                            2) It gives us milk

    My tail is very long                                              And butter too.

    My mane is fine and thick,                                   It’s very kind

    And I am very big.                                               And likes to moo.

                   (a lion)                                                                 (a cow)

    They are furry                                                      He can’t talk

    They are purry                                                     But he can bark.

    They lap milk in a shallow dish                            When I take him

    They lick their whiskers                                       To the park,

     And dream of fish.                                               I throw him a stick

                   ( a cat, kittens)                                       And he runs a race.

                                                                                 Then he comes back

                                                                                 And licks my face.                                                                                                             ( a dog)

   V.      And now I want to see if you can read well. I need two volunteers.

         Ученик читает описание, другая команда отгадывает животное.

a)    It is the tallest animal in the world. It has a very long neck to eat leaves [li:vz] of the trees. It lives in Africa. (a giraffe)

b)   It is a large animal with short legs and thick hair. It can be brown or white. It lives on vegetable [‘vedзətəbl] food, but can eat small animals and fish. Some of them sleep in winter. (a bear)

VI.      Are you good actors? I think you are. Will you show us any domestic or wild animal so that your classmates can guess what it is?

         2-3 ученика от каждой команды изображают животных.

VII.      And do you remember the story about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends? Will you name them? (Rabbit, Piglet, Kenga, Roo). Let’s play the game “Pin the Tail to the Donkey”.

         Ученики каждой команды (4-5 человек) с завязанными глазами прикрепляют хвост ослику.

VIII.      I am sure you know Russian Proverbs about animals (Example: Упрямый как осел. Собака лает, ветер носит. Не сули журавля в небе.).

         And what about English Proverbs? Read them and match with the Russian ones.

Answers: 1-c, 2-d, 3-a, 4-b.

IX.      Подведение итогов. Награждение.
