Цель – развитие языковой компетенции.

                               Задачи:  -освоить образование  и употребление в речи и на письме форму прошедшего времени  Past Simple ;

                  -научиться адекватно использовать речевые средства для решения коммуникативных задач;

                  - развивать мотивацию к овладению культурой общения, формировать учтойчивый познавательный интерес.

Ход урока.

1. Орг. момент.

Good morning boys and girls! I’m glad to see you today! What date is it today? What day of week is it today? Who is absent today?

2. Речевая зарядка

Answer my question, please:

-          Do you like watching TV?

-          Do you like watching cartoons?

-          What’s your favourite cartoon?

-          Did you watch TV yesterday?

-          Did you watch cartoons last weekend?

-          Do you know this character of cartoon?

-          Do you know him/ her?

-          What’s his/ her name?

The name of our lesson is “Famous first” and we’ll talk about Walt Disney and his cartoons.

Open your Student’s books at page 70 ex.1. Let’s listen the text and choose the right item.

Now read this text and label the paragraphs with the headings.

Let’s work in pairs. The first student should read the card and ask the question. And the second student should answer the question.

-          He was from Chicago, Illinois.

-          He liked drawing.

What did Walt Disney sell to his neighbours?

-          He sold his sketches.

-          He had $40.

-          He lived in California.

-          They started the Disney Brothers’ studio.

-          He created Mickey Mouse.

-          He won 32 Awards.

-          He made Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi.

-          He made 81 films.

-          He died in 1966.
