Past Progressive

Выражает действие, которое происходило в определённый момент (период) в прошлом.

Linda was watching TV at 10 o’clock yesterday.


Linda was watching TV when her friends came.

Утвердительные предложения +

was (ед. ч)
+ V ing
were (мн. ч)

I was reading at 5o’clock yesterday
They were watching TV when she came.
