What is Past Simple?

Time Signals

Words like “yesterday,” “last week,” and “ago” often accompany past simple sentences.

Structure

Regular verbs add “-ed,” while irregular verbs have unique past forms.

Regular Verbs: -ed endings explained (walked, talked)

Adding -ed
