1. French has been the official language in the UK for 300 years.
2. 25% of people living in London were not born in the UK.
3. More than 30,000 people living in England are called John Smith.
4. London is the first city to have a metro system.
5. The British are a reserved people who love privacy. Even friends don't ask questions about personal relationships or finances.
