The classic list of seven wonders of the world is known to us from school times when we studied Ancient history. Until now, only the pyramids of Egypt have reached, which anyone who visits this country can see. The pyramid of Cheops in Giza is the only surviving miracle of the world. Other miracles - the Colossus of Rhodes, the hanging gardens of Semiramis, the Alexandria lighthouse - have collapsed over the centuries, alone in fires and earthquakes, others due to flooding.

 The classic list of seven wonders of the world is known to us from school times when we studied Ancient history.  Some time later, cultural figures began to add to this list additional attractions, "miracles", which are still surprising and inspiring.

 In 2007, one of the UN organizations organized a vote to approve a new list of modern wonders of the world. And this is what the list turned out as a result:  • The Colosseum in Italy;  • The great Wall of China;  • Machu Picchu  • Taj Mahal in India  • Petra  • a statue of Christ the Redeemer  • the pyramids of Giza in Egypt;  • Chichen Itza
