Warm Up |
Hello, everybody. How are you? (Personal answers) I come to our classroom every day. I greet you every morning. I ask about your mood in every lesson. To describe daily activities, I use Present Simple Tense. Let’s review this grammar in speaking about daily routines: Instruction: - Name three activities that you do every day; - Use Present Simple Tense; - Speak one by one. CCQ: -How many activities should you name? (3) -What Grammar Tense should you use? (Present Simple Tense) - Should you make a dialogue? (No, we should speak one by one)
These are repetitive actions. |

But if we talk about the actions taking place at the moment of speech? How should we build a sentence?
What is it? (It’s a balloon) Look at me now: <T writes all sentences down on the board> I'm blowing. The ball is getting bigger. I'm tying it up. AAAND We are playing with the balloon now. I'm drawing a smile on it now. I'm drawing its eyes. I’m opening its eyes. AAAND It is looking at us at the moment!!! Balloon: “Hello! I am looking at you! I am playing with you! Ha-ha-ha!!! I am speaking English!” T: Balloon is speaking English! Balloon: I am looking through the window! Cars are coming! People are walking!
