Equipment: Computers, projector, screen, CD BENP English, a tape recorder, blackboard, toys,
flashcards, handouts.

Morning. Nice to meet you. Listen to the tape and try to guess our topic. Ok, our topic is animals. Meet our guest – Rabbit: “Hello, let me introduce my friends. What animals do you know?
Students try to give English variants /if not T translates/
(On the blackboard – colourful pictures of animals with words) - Listen how to read. - Repeat after me /whispering, laughing, echo…/. - Repeat one by one. - Try to read /2-3 pupils/. - Read in pairs. - Take pens, shut your eyes and write my word in the air, open your eyes and write in your notebooks; check up. - Spell the words. - I will name animals make up plurals /a cat-cats/. - Make up sentences /Tigers live in…./ - Describe animals /S1 lions-S2 lions are big and clever, crocodiles-S3/. - What is missing? (Shut your eyes, please …open your eyes… - Write the most difficult word and put the card into the box. (Colourful box)
I will divide you into groups /by toys/. Match the English and the Russian variants. (Supplement 1) Ask another group a word Take out Russian variants, put English ones together. Cut the cards into two parts, mix the cards. Play puzzles. Check up the words.
Now you are going to do exercises on computers. You will have 15 minutes. /Students may do tasks in different order/ At the end of your work put a mark to yourself.
Presentation 1 -match pictures and the words /wild animals/ -match pictures and the words /domestic/ -read the description and choose an animal (You may use Supplement 3) -make up the words on the topic -put the letters into the right order -word out -correct the mistakes -make a chain of the words -CD BENP English /Main school, the world around us, wild and domestic animals/: write words to the pictures *CD BENP English: match animals and babies
Exchange you seats and check up your neighbours, put a mark. Use the control card (Supplement 2) and the list for marks.
Self assessment. Evaluation of the lesson objectives. Your home task will be to draw and describe your favourite animal / do not name the one/
Write three your favourite animals /choose/. Look at the first animal-this is how you want to be. Look at the second one-this is how other people see you. Look at the third one-this is the real you!
