РАЗРАБОТКА ВНЕКЛАССНОГО МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ
«FUNNY ENGLISH»
Цель:
· Развитие умения говорения.
· Совершенствование лексических и грамматических навыков говорения.
· Развитие интереса к изучению английского языка и традициям англоговорящих стран.
ХОД МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ
1. Divide into three groups and choose the name for your group.
2. Warming-up: Listen to the song and guess what aur lesson is devoted to? (“Love is in the air…”)
3. Look at the board and unscramble the phrase. Do you agree or disagree with it? (OVEL MAKES POELPE EBBTRE NAD HAYPP).
4. Quiz – How much do you know about British traditions, their family life, friendship and love.
Match the questions, that are taken from “The Cliché Expert Testifies on Love” by Frank Sullivan, with the answers below and restore the abstract:
1) What is love?
2) Good, what does love do?
3) Whom does a young man
fall in love with?...
a) All the world loves a lover.
b) With the only girl in the world.
c) Madness and happiness take together…
5. Make a chain from love to hate.
Example: cold love

6. All the lines in a love poem are mixed. Reorder them and recite the poem:
“God made the world
With a heart full of love…
…Someone we
Can call a friend.”
7. Match all the proverbs with Russian equivalents, choose one you like best and make up a story (Love laughs at locksmiths. Love is blind…).
8. Summing-up: the jury give their verdict.
