Learning objectives that are achieved at this lesson(Subject Programme reference) |
9.2.1.10 - describe the movement of a body thrown horizontally using the kinematic equations of uniform and uniform motion; 9.2.1.11 - determine the speed of movement of the body thrown horizontally; 9.2.1.12 - build the trajectory of the body, thrown horizontally |
|

|
Lesson objectives |
Determines the velocity of motion of the horizontally thrown body and draws its trajectory |
|
|||||||||||||||||||||
|
Assessment criteria |
At least 80% of the learners should be able to: can determine the velocity of the horizontally dropped body; horizontally cross the body's trajectory |

LABORATORY WORK №2“THE STUDY OF THE MOVEMENT OF A BODY REVIVED GORIZOTAL”
Equipment: tripod, steel ball with a diameter of 25 mm, a tray on which we roll the ball down, a ruler with millimeter divisions, sheets of white and carbon paper. The order of performance 1.Fix the tray on the stand (fig. 1). Pay attention to that its bent end is directed horizontally. In front of the tray lay out the sheets of white paper, and on top of them - a copy. Several times from different heights of the tray, release the ball and get the marks of the points of its fall on the table.
2. Measure the height (h) at which the ball fell on the table, and the range (
h1= h2= h3= h4= h5= 3. Calculate the time of the fall of the ball according to the formula
t1= t2= t3= t4= t5= 4. Use the obtained data to calculate the horizontal velocity of the ball according to the formula ϑ0 = 5. Rolling the ball on the tray from the same place, repeat the experiment several times and record the measurement results in table №1:
6. Estimate the measurement error. 7. Make a conclusion.
