Gradually, these movements took on a new meaning: a desire to see the world.

In the 19th century, tourism became popular. The development of railways, steamships, improved roads, and safer transportation made travel more accessible to people.

The tourism and hospitality industry is currently developing in various directions related to the development of the industry in Russia.

I study at the Yekaterinburg Trade and Economic College, which provides students with the opportunity to learn everything about their profession.

The college sends us on practical training, where we can apply our knowledge and learn a lot of new things.

We go on hikes as a large family to learn everything about tourism.

In 2025, I got to know the world of excursions from the inside thanks to the "Professionals" championship. I created excursions and communicated with clients. Thanks to the championship, I learned a lot about my profession!

I also not only study as a professional, but also often as a tourist. I have traveled to different countries: Egypt, Turkey, Greece and Abkhazia. I like to study the culture of other nations. Alsо I travel a lot in Russia.

In the future, tourism and the hospitality industry will develop in the direction of personalization, digitalization, and sustainable development.

Personalization and customization.
AI will allow companies to analyze data on travelers' preferences, interests, and past experiences.

Sustainable tourism.
Travelers will choose environmentally friendly modes of transportation, environmentally conscious hotels, and tours that focus on preserving nature and culture.

The role of small destinations and alternative tourism is growing.
There is increasing interest in rural tourism, ecotourism, adventure tourism, and gastronomic tourism.

Flexibility and mobility.
Modern technologies allow for remote work and learning, making travel more flexible and accessible.
