Тема: Дорога славы

Цель: совершенствование речевых знаний и умений обучающихся

Задачи:

·        активизировать лексический материал по теме «Знаменитости»;

·        совершенствовать навыки аудирования;

·        систематизировать и закрепить знания учащихся по теме «Степени сравнения прилагательных»;

·        развивать память, умение сопоставлять, логическое мышление;

·        воспитывать интерес к изучению английского языка.

Тип урока: урок систематизации знаний

Оборудование: учебник «Spotlight 7», мультимедийная презентация, аудиозапись, квадратики из бумаги разных цветов

Ход урока

1.     Оргмомент

2.     Фонетическая зарядка

Teacher: Let’s practice some sounds. Your task is to read transcription of the following words and translate them (Слова для чтения-имена прилагательные: beautiful, handsome, rich, attractive, famous, talented, great, successful, smart, clever)

3.     Речевая разминка:

Look at the photos of some celebrities. Do you know them? What are they famous for? Do you want to be successful? Do you want to be celebrity?

4.     Этап развития навыков чтения и аудирования.

Teacher:  Do you know some facts about these celebrities! Read and complete the quiz on p.66. Then listen to the record and check you answer.

5.     Физпауза

Raise your hands,

High – higher – the highest.

Stretch your arms,

Long – longer – the longest

6.     Этап работы с грамматическим материалом

Цель: совершенствование грамматических навыков по теме «Степени сравнения прилагательных»

On the screen you can see some people. I offer you to compare them using the certain sentences.

1.Alice is the (YOUNG).

2.Homer is the (OLD).

3.Bob is  (YOUNG) than Homer.

4.Homer is  (OLD) than Alice.

5.Alice is  (SLIM) than Bob.

6.Bob is  (SHORT) than Homer.

7.Homer is  (FAT) than Bob.

8.Alice is  (SHORT) than Homer.

9.Homer can play the guitar  (GOOD) than Alice.

10.Alice draws  (BAD) than Bob.

           Compare these mobile phones       

           1. (cheap) Samsung is cheaper than  Nokia.

2. (expensive) Nokia is ___________________________ Sony Ericsson.

3. (good) The camera in Samsung is _______________________ the camera in Sony Ericsson.

4. (bad)The camera in Sony Ericsson is __________________________ the camera in Nokia.

Teacher:  And now we are going to talk about you and your classmates. Compare each other using the adverbs from the ex.5 p.67

Teacher:  And the last task for today is to make a pyramid

You will get squares and you should make a pyramid from these squares, then      we will make the same squares on the blackboard. I will say what square is bigger, what is smaller and so on.

Green - is the biggest.

Red –is bigger than yellow and smaller than white.

White - is bigger than red and smaller than blue.

Blue - is smaller than green and bigger than white.

     Yellow –is the smallest
