Открытый урок на тему «Погода в стихах английских поэтов и народном  фольклоре» 1.Оргмомент.  Good morning children and dear guests. Today I invite you to our poetic  party .Слайд 1 It is almost impossible to imagine our life without books. Do you  agree? As for me, I am captivated by the poetry. 2.     Мотивация So today we are going to speak about the weather  and how it is reflected in some  excellent examples of the British poetry and folk sayings, idioms. Some students  have learnt some poems by heart. They will recite them for us.  3 .   Основная         часть Game “Guess who?” Now let`s invite our guests ­ famous British poets, they will tell you some facts  about their life and their poems. And you try to guess – who they are. Let`s begin. P1­ I was born in 1850 in Edinburgh, Scotland. I wrote such books as “Treasure  Island» (You are Robert Louis Stevenson.) Слайд2 P2­ I was born in 1865 in India. The parents gave me a strange name­ that was the  name of the lake. “The Jungle book” was written by me. (You are Rudyard  Kipling.) Слайд 3 P3­ I was born in London in 1882. In 1903 I started to write essays and poems,  they were published in the satirical magazine “Punch”. I wrote favourite children’s  book “Winnie the Pooh” (You are Alan Alexander Milne.) Слайд 4 P4­ I was born on or about April, the 23 1564, in Stratford­ on Avon. I was an  actor, a poet, and a writer of drama. (You are W. Shakespeare.) Слайд 5 P5­ I am a great English poet. I was born in 1788 in an old aristocratic family. The  poem “Child Harold s Pilgrimage” made me famous in 1812. (You are George  Gordon Byron.) Слайд 6 1 P6­ I am a great Scottish poet. I was born on the 25 of January in 1759 in  Edinburgh to a farming family. The song “Auld Lang Syne” is very popular in  Scotland. (You are Robert Burns.) Слайд 7. There are some proverbs from Shakespeare s plays. Let s match the endings to the beginnings. Слайд 8. ᾽ ᾽  These authors wrote some poems about the weather.   Today we will recite the  poem “The gladness of nature» by     William Cullen Bryant. The first pupil:  Is this a time to be cloudy and sad,  When our mother Nature laughs around;  When even the deep blue heavens look glad,  And gladness breathes from the blossoming ground? The second: Этот миг людям дан, чтобы петь и грустить,  Чтоб природы ловить мимолетную радость;  Когда неба лазурь всех спешит известить  О слиянии с утренним листопадом. The third pupil: There's a dance of leaves in that aspen bower,  There's a titter of winds in that beechen tree,  There's a smile on the fruit, and a smile on the flower,  And a laugh from the brook that runs to the sea. The fourth pupil: Там из танца прожилков осиновых дом.   Вырастает, как терем, под хохот ветрила.  Там улыбка спешит от цветка за цветком,  До ручья, до приморского брега на крыльях. The fifth pupil: And look at the broad­faced sun, how he smiles  On the dewy earth that smiles in his ray,  On the leaping waters and gay young isles;  2 Ay, look, and he'll smile the gloom away. The sixth pupil: О, взгляни же на солнечный ясный лик,  На земли упоенье, что взял с собой лучик,  На задор молодых островов в светлый миг.  Ты взгляни, и поймешь: этот день самый лучший.   Today we are talking about the weather. There is a spidergram  on the board. Let s᾽ fill in the types of the weather. (cold, sunny, foggy, freezing, snowing, windy,  cool, warm, breeze, gale, hailstones, sleet etc)  Слайд 10. What is the weather like today? Слайд 11. What’s your favorite weather? Слайд 14. There are some folk English sayings about the weather. Open your books on the  page 80 ex. 4 and do the task. Fill in the gaps with words from  the list. Are there similar sayings in your  country? There are a lot of folk signs about the weather in our country— but not in rhyme.  Here are some of them.  Курица на одной ноге стоит — к стуже. Лягушки по берегу прыгают — к  дождю. Кошка лижется — к ненастью. В полдень лучи Солнца темнеют —  ожидай грозу. Большие дождевые пузыри — к ненастью и пущему дождю.  Гром зимой — к сильным ветрам. Ночная роса не просыхает — быть грозе.  Комары кусают весь день — к продолжительному дождю. Воробьи купаются в пыли — быть дождю. Собака валяется в снегу — к вьюге. Кошка свернулась  клубком — к морозу. Слайд 15.
