Question 3:

a.       An ideal gas is in a balloon at a pressure of 33.3 atm and 273 degrees Celsius has a volume of 3 liters. The balloon is expanded to a pressure of 1 atm at the same temperature. What is the final volume of the gas?

b.      An ideal gas is in a balloon at a pressure of 525 Pa and 27 degrees Celsius has a volume of 1525 ml. The balloon is heated to 60 degrees C with a pressure of 725 Pa. What is the final volume of the heated gas?  What assumptions are you making in your calculations? Explain your answers.
