Robert Louis Stevenson was born in Edinburgh on the 13th of November in 1850. His real name was Robert Lewis Balfour Stevenson

Edinburgh is a political and cultural centre of Scotland

Robert had a wonderful imagination . He was never bored. Stevenson could be happy in any circumstances

You can see the drawing of Robert. He drew it when he was six

After finishing school he entered the Edinburgh University and became a lawer

Stevenson admired Edinburgh . It is a very romantic city with old beautiful castles and parks

Robert was fond of travelling . In France he met Frances Matilda Osbourne and she became his wife.

In the same year he fell ill. It was tuberculosis. Looking for healthy climate he visited Switzerland

He visited Australia, Samoa, Hawaii, Tahiti and many other islands

The island’s climate was useful for tevenson. He wrote some of his best works in Samoa. But his health became worse.

On the 3rd of December in 1894 de died. Robert Louis Stevenson was buried on the pick of the mountain in Samoa
