Презентация на тему "Britain: traditions and customs" разработана для 6 класса для открытого урока по английскому языку с опорой на УМК Ю.А. Комарова. Цель работы - познакомить учащихся с национальными фестивалями Британии; дать представление учащимся о традициях и обычаях Британии; в данной презентации происходит работа на закрепление лексического материала, работа с текстами; совершенствование навыков общения через дискуссии и решение проблемных моментов.

What’s the theme of the lesson?
The theme of our lesson is: festivals. National holidays and festivals are parts of the culture. They express traditions and customs of the country.
Aims: • to practise writing; • to practise speaking; • to practise describing a picture; • to practise reading; • to practise finding information; • to practise making a plan of the festival;
