Aims: SWAT:    to use the vocabulary on the theme “My School” and the Present Simple Tense in the sentences; to speak on the topic “Schools in Kazakhstan, USA and UK ”. to work in groups and individually. Type of the lesson: combined Equipment: cards with letter-combinations, worksheets with tasks on the Present Simple and the text “Schools in Kazakhstan, USA and UK”. Plan I. Preliminaries. 1. Greetings 2. Discussing of the lesson aims and results. 3. Phonetic drill. 4. Checking up the home task. II. Practice and production 1. Work with the Present Simple Tense 2. Energizer 3. Work with the text “Schools in Kazakhstan, USA and UK ”. Actions to the song “Turn around” III. IV.Conclusion V. Making the comments on the lesson VI. VII. Self estimation Giving the marks and the home task (to revise the rule of the Present I. II. Simple Tense) Preliminaries. 1. Greetings VIII. Outline. 2. Discussing of the lesson aims and results. The teacher will greet pupils: “Good morning, pupils!” The children will answer: “Good morning, teacher!” The teacher: Today we shall revise the Present Simple Tense and we IX. X. XI. shall read the text “Schools in Kazakhstan, USA and UK” 3. Phonetic drill. Using the cards the teacher shows the letter-combinations one by one XII. Drilling of the letter-combinations: wr, ou, ar, ea, y, er, or, tch, ir, c, aw. XIII. and the pupils will name them, first individually then in chorus. XIV. The pupils will write the quiz on the following words: a sharpener, to learn, to count, a paper clip, to read, a chalk, to study, scissors, to write, a blackboard. 4. Checking up the home task. We begin to go to school when we are 7 years old. We study 11 years. We study at primary school, then in secondary school and in high school. Then we go to university. XXIII. Hello! My name is Jack. I am from the USA. We begin to go to school when we are 7 years old. When we are 16 we go to the high school, where we study until the twelfth form. Then we go to university. XXIV. Hello! I am Tom! I am from the UK. Boys and girls begin to go to school at the age of 5. They draw pictures, sing songs, listen to the stories. When we are seven we go to junior schools, where we learn to write, read and count. We go to the secondary school when we are 11. After it we can go to the university.
