Tim Harding has been doingballet for five years. While
most of his friends prefer to
play sport or do karate, Tim
likes to spend his free time
dancing. He admits that it’s a
bit weird for a boy to want todance, and his dad thinks it’s a
waste of time. Still, he enjoys it
and works hard at it, too.
‘You have to take your time at
first, ’explains Tim. ’A lot of
the moves are very difficult.’He practices in the evenings,
and the group put on
performance’s once a month.
Would he like to become a
professional dancer?
’Oh, yes, ’he says, ’verymuch’. They have offered me a
place at the Royal Ballet
School next year, and I’m
certainly not going to turn it
down.’
