Good morning. I’m glad to see you again. Look at the board and guess the theme and put the aims of our lesson.

We’ll work with the vocabulary on the topic, We must remember the words from the last lessons and use them in own sentences. We’ll read and  speak about Misunderstanding and  problems between the children and their parents.     Our aim is to work out strategies of  how to overcome the difficulties each member of any family can face. Our aim is   how to reach a compromise with the people who are either older or younger than us. Our aim is  how to make our relationships and, thus, our families if not ideal.  We must remember  the grammar rules to make  and use them in our speech.

What are family values?

Yes? Of course/ The family is important for a person because it takes care for each other, has fair share, respects each other’s interests/ We feel comfortable and be responsible to every members of the family.

Family values are love, trust, understanding,  respect, caring, sharing, security, tolerance, comfort and protection

1.            A family has things together like dreams and hopes and possessions and memories and smiles.  (sharing)

2.            With so many people in one house you don’t have a chance to be alone, unseen or unheard. (privacy)

3.            It is a shelter from the storm, a friendly port when the waves of life become too wild. ( security, comfort)

4.            A family is a place where love and faith dwell, a place where all members can enjoy the dignity (достоинство) of their own personalities. ( caring, respect, trust)

5.            We talk about what’s happening, who’s doing what, it’s lovely to have the family round you and to know they are interested in you. ( caring, sharing)

 The first statement is for Group 1, the second – for Group 2.

1. I don't think that we need family only for comfort and protection. Because eveyone needs to be loved, to have their own home and to be sure that some people will never betray you. And family can give you this. (не согласие)

2. I personally think that this is true because most people need some time to get to know each other and then one can share it's feelings (согласие)

3. I can't disagree to that but everyone should appreciate such kind of concern. Isn't it just relly nice to know that someone cares about you?  (согласие)

- Trust is more important for a happy family than any other feature.

 And I believe, it seems to be so. When parents and children, especially in a big family, can't talk to each other and to understand, there is no trust in this family. Parents, who trust their children have better relations with them and on the contrary children, whom parents can trust have better life and have wonderful friends. They can keep the secrets, help in every difficult situation. So, here we can guess, trust is very important not only for family but for other people in our lives. Trust is always on of the most important things. Of course, you need to trust your family because they know you better than anyone else does.
