Pupils sing a “Phonics song”.
INTRODUCTION
Teacher elicits and preteaches spring
words:birds, flowersbees rabbits leaves snow
etc.
Teacher gives learners worksheet of different
images and ask learners to tick which ones are
about springtime.
READING
Pupils look at the pictures of PPT with words
and read after Teacher all the words in chorus:
bbbirds, ffflowers, bbbees, rrrabbits, l
lleaves, sssnow.
Pupils recognize pictures of PPT without words
and name them.
GROUPWORKING
Teacher shows gestures to illustrate given
words. One group shows their gestures,for
example,for a flower. The other group has to
guessand name the word.
BREAK
Listening to, learning and singing along to a
simple song about spring. ( pupils move and
show gestures)
FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT
Teacher reads four words and points to the
picture. Learners chooseand circle the word that
matches the picture.
