Телемост «Школа»

Цели: совершенствование навыков монологической речи; тренировка навыков аудирования и диалогической речи; повторение изученной лексики по теме «Школа».

Оборудование: транскрипционные значки; картинки по теме «Школа»; карточки для составления рассказа о себе; таблички с названиями стран America, Russia.

Ход мероприятия

- Good morning, boys and girls. Today we shall have a meeting of the pupils from different countries. One group will be from Russia and other pupils are from America. Let's divide into two teams.

Учитель приветствует детей и сообщает им о проведении телемоста «Россия - Америка». Учащиеся делятся на две команды, и учитель объясняет им правила проведения телемоста, напоминает о необходимости быть вежливыми, внимательными и терпеливыми.

- The teams will have different tasks, you will tell each other about yourself and about your friends and relatives, you will ask and answer the questions. All the pupils must be very polite, active, patient and attentive.

Задание 1

- As you see we shall speak English. I want to know if you remember English letters and sounds. One by one you will go to the blackboard and write the letters in the alphabetical order.

Команды получают первое задание: написать английские буквы в алфавитном порядке. Члены каждой команды по очереди подбегают к доске и записывают по одной букве. Затем учитель показывает командам транскрипционные значки и просит их вспомнить английские слова с данными звуками. Например: [f] - frog, fish, forest; [   ]- cat, can, carrot; [t] - ten, meat, sweets; etc.

Задание 2

— Now you will tell your friends about yourself. You have special cards with some words on them. Use the models and make up a story about yourself. You'll have 3 minutes to prepare this task.

Учитель предлагает учащимся использовать карточку в качестве плана рассказа. Каждый ученик получает карточку с указанием имени, страны, возраста, движений, слов family, friend и house.

Примерный рассказ ученика:

I am Nick. I am from America. I am eight. I can swim. I can't ski. My family is not large. I have a mother, a father and a brother. I have a friend. His name is Dick. He lives in a big house.

Задание 3

- All people have friends. Now you will try to guess what the friends of children from another country can or can't do, like or don't like to watch and to read, what games he or she likes to play. Agree or disagree with the statements. You have 4 minutes to prepare your statements in groups and then we shall start.

Ученики готовят утверждения в группе для другой команды в течение 4 мин, а затем по очереди зачитывают утверждения, обращаясь к конкретным ученикам. Ученик, к которому обращено высказывание, должен повторить утверждение, если оно верное, и исправить его, если оно неверное.

Sasha, your friend can play the drum. (He can play the drum.)

Nina, your friend can play football. (She can 't play football. She can play chess.)

Sveta, your friend likes to play the guitar. (She likes to play the guitar.)

Mike, your friend likes to read fairy-tales. (He doesn 't like to read fairy-tales. He likes to read magazines.) Etc.

Задание 4

— It's time to ask the questions. Look at the blackboard, please What can you see there? You are right. There are the pictures of different things there. Ask the children what they have in their school bags or what they would like to have. Who will  start our work?

Учитель вывешивает на доске картинки по теме «Школа». Ученики по очереди задают вопросы членам противоположной команды. Ученик, ответивший на вопрос, получает право задать свой вопрос.

1. Do you like your bag? (Yes, I do. I like my bag.)

2. Do you want to have a red ruler? (No, I don n 't, / don't want to have a red ruler.)

3. Have you got a pencil-sharpener? (Yes, I have. I have got a pencil-sharpener.)

4. Why do you need a pen? (/ need a pen for writing.) Etc.
