Тип урока: урок комплексного применения знаний и решения   практических задач. Цель урока: Формирование ключевых языковых компетенций на   уроке английского языка. Задачи урока:   Практическая:  – промотировать навыки УУД в развитии умений решения  коммуникативной задачи с различной степенью сложности;           ­практиковать учащихся в чтении текста с полным пониманием. Образовательная:  – активизировать и совершенствовать актуальный словарный запас  обучающихся. Воспитательные:  – развивать настойчивость и умение преодолевать трудности для  достижения намеченной цели; – активизировать познавательную инициативу обучающихся и  формировать их социальную компетентность.  Развивающие:  – содействовать установлению в сознании ребенка устойчивых связей  между накопленным и новым опытом познавательной и практической  деятельности; – формировать и развивать учебно­организационные умения и навыки  (взаимоконтроль, самостоятельная работа, коллективная деятельность); – учить сравнивать различные системы образования в англо­говорящих  странах; ­развивать навыки общения при работе в парах и группах. Форма урока: фронтальная, индивидуальная, парная и групповая формы работы.  I. Организационный момент – Glad to see you! Oh, you’re in a good mood today. Great! Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?  ХОД УРОКА II. Речевая разминка. Teacher: Let’s begin with the poem. Listen to it and try to translate. Ex. 45 p71 III. Этап постановки цели урока. (Учитель раздает учащимся словосочетания на карточках, на доске вывешены 2 слова ADVANTAGES и DISADVANTAGES. Дети по очереди  расставляют словосочетания под слова).   T: You have the word combinations and you can see 2 words on the blackboard. So, read your card and put it under ADVANTAGES or DISADVANTAGES.                                                      ADVANTAGES   To become smart To study interesting subjects To learn new things To have a lot of friends To have good teachers To develop your mind To have interesting school traditions To develop your imagination To prepare for adult life To enjoy school life DISADVANTAGES To have no time for sport and hobbies To be tired of doing homework To get up early in the morning To have boring lessons To be afraid of some teachers To learn a lot To have too many subjects To worry about marks To get bad marks To have to read a lot OK, now try to guess about what ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES we are talking about? III. Этап подготовки учащихся к активному и сознательному усвоению нового материала Teacher: As we are speaking about schools in English­speaking countries, let’s review some words about education. I will give you the words and you will make up the sentences with them. (Раздать слова: to attend, classes, school, meetings; means of, communication; compulsory, private, secondary, secondary, free, higher, education; to wear,  free, school, uniform; successful, future). Teacher:  Let’s watch the video “Schools in Great Britain” Be attentive and be ready to answer some questions 1. Are there any differences between British schools and our schools? 2. What school do you like more? 3. What kind of school do you go to? Describe it, please.  4. What is an ideal school for you?  5. Will it be a single­sex school or a mixed one?  6. 7. 8.  Where will it be situated?   What kind of teachers will you have?   What subjects would you like to study at your ideal school?  Break minute (Dancing) V. Этап закрепления материала. There is a file with the text on your desk. This text is divided into several parts. Your task is to put all parts together into one text. Then you have to  choose a speaker from your group who will retell us the text in short. The first speaker will tell the first part. The second one will retell the second part and the  third group will tell us the last part of the text. My ideal school My ideal school won’t be situated in the center of the city because air pollution is bad and it is too noisy. It would be in the park so pupils can walk after  lunch to relax.  There would be a large coffee bar where we could have a cup of tea or coffee during the breaks. My school would also have computers in all classrooms.  There would be a music studio where we could play and record music.  Nowadays we have to study a lot of subjects at school. In my school we will have compulsory and optional subjects. English will be compulsory, of course.  We need English for our future profession. Information technology is another important subject. It should be taught because everyone will need to use computers in the future. Also we would study driving lessons, cookery or self­defense. There would be after­school clubs, such as chess, drama, photography and sports. To sum up, I think my school would have a good variety of activities – something for everyone.  It’s certainly a place I would like to go to! Project work In front of you there is a big sheet of paper. Today You’ve learnt a lot about the schools. Your task is to sum up the information and to draw a school  where you would like to study. Then you should present it. Teacher: I think every student dreams about a perfect school. What is your perfect school? Your home task is to make a project of the school of your dream.
