Pre teach vocabulary. The teacher introduces new vocabulary by demonstrating flashcards “health problems”. Students drill pronunciation, they repeat the words after the teacher or after the announcer. Which words are difficult to spell?

Writing task Students write 4 - 6 sentences about themselves and their family using always, sometimes and never e.g. I sometimes have a cold. I never have toothache. My granddad always has backache. Compare with a partner. Should/shouldn’t worksheet Students read sentences and complete them with should or shouldn’t. The teacher monitors them and provides help if needed. |
