Let me tell you some words about myself. I have been teaching English for 15 years.  I am a kind of a passionate English learner and a creative English  teacher, I fall in love with English and children. I’m sure I’m a happy person  because I have perceived my vocation. I’m looking for new methods of  teaching, try to develop my knowledge and skills.      I try to be a good teacher, it means: ­to be friendly, easy­going, polite and kind; ­to be professional, enthusiastic and creative; ­to be up­to­date and know English well; ­to allow pupils to develop understanding in different ways/ speeds (be  themselves); ­to encourage pupils to think; ­to respect each pupil, to be honest with them; ­to set appropriate targets/ goals and clear tasks; ­to be careful with correcting mistakes; ­to give positive feedback; ­to praise; ­to be a good listener (Turkish proverb: If speaking is silver; then listening is  gold.") people do not want to hear all the time, they need someone who can  listen to them as well. And when a good teacher develops this patient quality  in himself, he starts to become a great teacher. The aim of teaching English at school is to teach the pupils how to use the  target language for communicative needs’, one of the main methodological  principles is the principle of communicative approach. It means that the  pupils should be involved in oral and written communication throughout the  whole course of learning English. So it's quite important to find out a student's interests and needs. Knowing your learners better is the first step towards building good relationships with them. You can make English more relevant  to their lives, and plan lessons and activities which engage them more.
