Тема: The most haunted castle in Britain.

Цели:

• развивать навыки аудирования, чтения и письма, говорения;
• познакомить со страноведческим материалом Великобритании.

Задачи:

• научить строить высказывания с использованием введённых лексических единиц;
• научить высказывать свое мнение.
•  Расширение и активизация словарного запаса по теме
• Совершенствование навыков письма, чтения, говорения
• Расширение кругозора обучающихся
• Совершенствование навыков описания  картинки и пересказа текста
• Совершенствование навыков самостоятельной работы, умения слушать и высказывать свое мнение, умение анализировать, обобщать и подводить итог( делать выводы)

People say that they see a man dressed in black here and they think he is the ghost of a …from the monastery. They say that he disappears when they look at him.

The next ghost really frightens people is the white lady. Some people believed that this is the ghost of…. She was a woman who visited the castle in the 19^th century. Charlotte’s baby fell into the water and poor Charlotte also …when she tried to save her child.

The most frightening ghost of all is a man on…. People also say they hear the sound of horses. One of the strange things about the man on the horse is that we don’t know who he is, in which part of Port Chester’s long history he is from.

I’ve come here to Port Chester to find out more reports of not one but four ghosts and many of the ghosts come from different times in Pot Chester –long history Port Chester castle dates back to Roman Britain the Romans build the original castle here in the year 290. The first ghost report also comes from Roman times. Visitors report that they see the ghost of a Roman soldier guarding a wall. But they say don’t feel frightened.
