Цели урока: Образовательные:  ­ формирование навыков чтения с извлечением информации и полным  пониманием прочитанного; ­ совершенствование навыков аудирования; ­ активизация навыков говорения по теме; ­ совершенствование грамматических навыков; ­ формирование у учащихся интереса к культуре народа страны изучаемого  языка; Развивающие: ­ развитие памяти, мышления, и воображения учащихся; ­ развитие умения логически излагать свои мысли; Воспитательные: ­ воспитание уважения к собеседникам; ­ создание положительной мотивации к изучению иностранного языка; ­ формирование познавательной активности. Оборудование:мультимедийный проектор, экран,раздаточный материал,  презентация.   Ход урока: 1.Организационный момент. Определение темы урока. Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. how are you? Well, what is the theme of our today’s lesson? If you look at the blackboard? you  will see a small crossword puzzle. If you guess and fill it in, choose the right  letters, you will know the key word  and the theme of our lesson. So let’s begin! 1 A lesson where you sing songs.  (music) Take the first letter. 2 A person who stands in front of the orchestra. (conductor) Take the fifth  letter. 3 A very popular singer (star) . Take the first letter.4 The hometown of The Beatles ( Liverpool). Take the second letter. 5 A person who writes music (composer). Take the first letter. (учащиеся по буквам называют тему урока: Music) You are quite right. Today we will speak about music. It has no borders, the same  kind of music exists everywhere. It is extremly dull without music. I’m sure, that  everybody sitting in the classroom likes music. I have a question for you. What  kind of music do you prefer? 2.Работа в группах: Teacher: Now we shall work in groups of four. I’ll  give you cards with the texts.  Your task is to read and undertand the texts then match the type of music  to the  definitions. 1.A style of music invented by lack American musicians in early twentieth ctntury. It has a strong rhythm and often involves improvisation. Famous musicians include Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday. 2.A type of music in which singers don’t sing but speak the words quickly, in a  rhythmic way. 3.It’s like a play in the theatre, but people sing the words. 4.A type of  very loud rock music, with lots of guitar and a strong beat. 5.A type of musicdeveloped by black American musicians in the south of the USA. It is slow, often sad, and with a strong rhythm. Key: 1. jazz; 2.rap; 3.opera; 4.heavy metal; 5. blues. 3.Лексико­грамматичекое упражнение. Teacher:  The next task for you is the following: you get texts, fill in the words. ( Преобразуйте слова  в скобках так, чтобы они грамматически и лексически  соответствовали содержанию текста.) Blues (music) developed their own kind of music in the early 20th century in the  southern states of the USA. They were (origin)people who lived in rural areas and  their songs were about their own lives and experiences. They developed a kind of  music that was (complete)  theis and unlike anything else. The early blues singers  took songs from each other. A (legend) figure in the history of blues is Robert Johnson. Many of his songs were later played by lots of (perform). Blues music was the basis of rock’n’roll and so it was the starting point for today’s most popular music. Key:musicians, originally, cjmpletely, legendary, performers. You know that there are a lot of great composers in the world. Can you name  them? Now we are going to listen to a text about one of the greatest composers in  the world . Then you will get a task. Wolfgang  Amadeus Mozart was born in1756, the son of a composer at the court  of the Archbishop of Salzburg. While very young, he gave signs of great talant.  From the time he was 6 years old, he played and composed very well. Mozart and  his sister Maria Anna were taken by their father on concert tours to all the royal  courts of London. Mozart played the organ and the violin. Audiences were amazed  by the children’s talent.  At the age of 12 Mozart composed his first opera. He started to write masses and  symphonies. His father had hoped that Mozart would become court composer for  some rich nobleman. But none was willing. In 1782 he married a singer, Constanze Weber . But their family was always in debt.He tried to pay his debts  by making  concert tours, but he only exhausted his strength.He died in 1791. He was so poor  that he was buried in a common grave in Vienna.
