Открытый урок в 10 классе по теме «What is Happiness?» Цели урока:   Образовательные:  формирование   языковой   компетенции,  знакомство   с   культурой   и традициями страны изучаемого языка, практика уч­ся в развитии навыков устной речи по теме;   чтении   аутентичных   материалов   с   извлечением   общей   и   заданной   информации; умении воспринимать на слух   речь носителей языка; развитие навыков монологической речи,  Развивающие: развитие критического мышления уч­ся: умения анализировать информацию, сравнивать   и   интерпретировать   факты,   делать   выводы   на   основе   увиденного   и услышанного. Воспитательные:  воспитание   уважительного   и   ответственного   отношения     к   семье, семейным ценностям,  воспитание интереса и уважения к культуре и традициям  страны изучаемого языка; Средства обучения и оборудование: интерактивная доска ХОД УРОКА T: I’m glad to see you. Are you glad to come back to school after your short holidays? We have a lot of teachers at our lesson today. Are you glad to have other teachers to be present at  our  lesson?     What  feelings  do  you  have  just  now?  Are   you  pleased,  frustrated  or nervous? Are you worried? I’ll try to change your feelings in a minute. Close your eyes, relax yourselves and listen to the sounds. What are your feelings just now? What are you pleased at? Is there a definition of happiness or is it interpreted in different ways? What   do   you   think:   Is   there   a   magic   formula   for happiness? What  are  universal aspects of happiness? I want you to interpret these quotations. Which of them expresses your point of view? Is family of primary importance for young people nowadays? interpret the results of the survey? I’d like to demonstrate you the results of the Girls’ Attitude Survey.  How can you According to the survey marriage is no longer a key goal (a priority) for girls. And what about you? Is Family an absolute formula for your happy life? I want you to look through the article and find the best argument in favour of the family (Чтение статьи) Т:   On   the   day   young   people   are   going   to   become husband and wife they make vows and promise a lot of things to each other. Not to ruin their marriage they have to keep promises the whole life. Now I want you to watch the film and find out what the bride and the groom promise each other.  T; The views on family and marriage have changed over times. Which of them do you find true to life? What is  your idea of a happy family? Do you think that every woman should get married or have children? Are there in modern society other ways for  a woman to realize herself?  Why do you think it sometimes happens that people who get married for love change their feelings for  hatred? Is it true that unfaithfulness will always ruin marriage? T:If you had to choose between a satisfying job and a well­paid one which would you choose? What job do you like to have in the future?
