Коммуникативная задача: рассказать о позитивных или отрицательных впечатлениях посещения кинотеатра.

Unscramble the sentences to make up a dialogue. What do people think about watching the film. Choose the phrases to prove your idea.

Make up a dialogue and find out what the speaker’s opinion about visiting cinema is: positive, negative, neutral.

Dialogue I.

A: Did you like the film you saw yesterday?

B: I am still in two minds.  I want to say “The Trolls” is predictable but it doesn't mean that it can't offer anything good.

A: As far as I know it is thought to be the most creative animation crafted this year. It's highly colorful!

B: I agree with you but they really went overboard with the quantity of characters! They are likable but unconvincing. Though the way that the animators both design and animate the trolls themselves is great.

A: Will you advise your friends to watch it on a big screen?

B: I can’t decide if it is worth seeing.

Dialogue II.

A: Did you enjoy your going to the cinema?

B: Disgusting! Who on earth would be so stupid to think that this is good enough to be released in cinemas.

A: You are too strict! I’ve read it could be considered amusing and inspirational.

B: It can be considered unwatchable nowadays as one of the absolute worst of all times. I kid you not. It focused more on the humor than on the story.

A: Were not you amazed by any characters?

B: I was amazed how idiotic they could be. None of them was even funny. Moreover, the seats were so uncomfortable that I left the cinema without waiting till the film ended.

A: Oh, it’s a pity you wasted your time and money.

Dialogue III.

A: Did you like the film you watched yesterday?

B: It’s a masterpiece of its kind. Don’t miss it! Have you watched it?

A: Not yet but I was surprised to find out that it turned out to be one of Disney's strongest animated films.

B: That’s because the story is filled with tremendous heart and humor, breathtaking animation and unforgettable characters. It’s really jaw-dropping.

A: Does it explore any issues?

B: Yes, it does. It’s eye-opening. The powerful message of discrimination makes the film stand up. Disney presented the world once again why it is the greatest and most beloved animation studio of all time!

7. Speaking

Let’s go to the improvised cinema right now. Watch a trailer of the film “Rabbit Peter” that is on at Minsk cinemas in April. After watching be ready to express your opinion. Use the words and phrases from your table. Will you advise your friend to watch it? Would you like to watch it?
